Short animations getting artsy (original) (raw)
ONA, 2020, 1 epMe:- Author:10
By Shingo Tamagawa and unusually high rated for MAL community standards, Puparia seems like a mainstream pop star compared to the rest. Great art quality using more accessible visuals and also great soundtrack, maybe the least "experimental" of the bunch that you are going to see here. I could go on about nature, civilization and modernity anxiety, but I'm not gonna bore you all with shallow interpretations, think for yourself or just appreciate, what really matters in art is how it makes you feel. It doesn't matter what Puparia "means", it's just feels good to watch.

A collection of best works on festivals, as all collections it has its ups and downs but I believe way more ups.
I particularly like Tokyo White and Black by Naohiro Takahashi for its gritty punky urban aesthetics, but this stack in special I really recommend Masaki Buma's Street of Millimeter. But the collection itself is very interesting.
