I usually stick to reading one-shots, but lately I've been hankering to read a story, not necessarily of more substance, but containing a more intricate plot. Most of the NaruSaku multi-parts that I've come across (and they're not many) haven't really appealed to my interest, so I figured I'd turn to you guys and see if you can help me out :D

I'll check out AU or canon, doesn't matter, so long as the characters are believably _in_-character

and dripping with angst

. I'd be most interested to see a 'Sasuke Returns' type fic where Naruto and Sakura are already or on their way to being an item; I've yet to actually come across a fic like that and I think it would be an interesting read. Thanks!

Since I'm all for having people supply me with fun reading material, I thought I'd do the same. I've got a massive list of bookmarks, but rather than dumping the whole thing on you guys at once, I've decided to dole them out bit by bit. There are plenty of complete (or just stopped) fics, as well as some in-progress works. My tastes are pretty broad, ranging from sappy to angsty, tragic to humorous, so if you don't like it, that's fine, too.

As the community is kind of floudering, I was wondering if I shoud make a few improvements to it. I had two things in mind, but thought I would run them by you before implementing them.

1. Allow authors to post their own NaruSaku fics.
2. Issue bi-weekly/monthly NaruSaku fic challenges.

The community is still, obviously, primarily a NaruSaku fanfiction recommendation group, but whose to say we can't spice it up a bit?

Thoughts? Suggestions?

Title: What Does It All Mean?

Genre: Romance/Drama

Pairings: Naruto x Sakura x Sasuke
WARNINGS: Some sexual content, but nothing overly explicit.
Spoilers: Nope.
Summary: Just when you thought life was getting back to normal, fate throws you a pair of wild cards. A Team 7 story about love, letting go and finally growing up.
Review: It's not pure NaruSaku; rather, it's a NaruSakuSasu triangle. And while there are some pretty heavy SasuSaku moments, there are also some very nice NaruSaku moments. The story is still ongoing, and currently has fifteen chapters to its credit. It's a really emotional story, it is. Does a good job of portraying Sakura's struggles, Naruto's feelings, and Sasuke's...being Sasuke. (I don't like Sasuke.)

Beautiful Day by Doc Destructo
Genre: Drama/Tragedy
Rating: T/PG-13
Other pairings: SasuSaku
Warning: Future fic.
Summary: Naruto focuses on his last day as Hokage and the people who mean so much to him.
Review: I was totally blown away by this fic! Granted, I dragged my feet to get to reading it, but after I was done, I was like Why? Why did I wait so long?! This story was amazing! Nostalgic, sad, funny, and consistently set the feelings of longing and friendship, portraying the characters in such a human sort of light but keeping them in character (I know, novel concept). It is so beautifully crafted! I was totally crying at the end - which is such a girl thing to do but... :P It was a great read! Best of all, it's complete (which means it'll be going onto my favorite list, SCORE!!)! Why the hell are you just sitting there reading this, Shinnaro! Go read the fic, damnit! And then phraise it!!! It deserves more reviews. GIR! GIR!!!

Why should I recommend, you ask? Because you are under the misguided assumption that you have good taste and that other people should hear about it, damnit! No? Well, that's why I do it.
