Ron Blessing of The Game’s The Thing had this to say about it, “I can't wait to spend time in this playground. The book as a whole is awesome. _2:58 pm_[ravendrexn] Perhaps this is a shot in the dark, but would anybody know where I can find something like "modern miniatures"... if such a thing exists? I'm planning on running a Vampire: the Masquerade game soon, and I'd like to have a few mini's for my battle map. I have plenty that I use for Dungeons & Dragons, but Vampire loses a little something when you use "Gar the Dwarven" (or something) to represent your Toreador. (Comment on this)

_11:59 am_[bleakorpheus] Hi there. I moved to Nashville a couple months ago and I'm beginning to go into gaming withdrawal, so I'd like to meet some other gamers and maybe join or start a group. I have plenty of experience playing and running D&D, D20 Modern and Future, the White Wolf games, Shadowrun, and the Firefly rpg, and I'm down for learning other systems. Unfortunately, I don't have a car right now since someone totalled it in Columbia, but my legs work alright and I'm learning the bus system. If it's any incentive, I'm totally down with running games. Also, where are the good game shops? (5 Comments |Comment on this)

_7:44 pm_[mswafford] Connooga-Munchkin Tournament (February 22-24, 2008) After conferring with Rev Bob (our resident Steve Jackson MIB) at the Harry Potter release thingy at Books-A-Million Friday night, we have come with our solution for the Munchkin Tournament. First Round-Six tables of six players will play against each other with a randomly determined Munchkin set. It could be Bites, Super, Fu, Impossible, or even Cthulhu. The winners from those individual tables will go on to the... Second Round- where the basic Munchkin set (and all of it's expansions-maybe even Blender!) will be utilized. The winner of this round will be Connooga's First Uber-Munchkin Champion where he/she can gloat, point at his/her inferiors and laugh maniacally. Prizes to be determined as we get closer to convention time. So...sit back, relax, and get ready to Stab your buddy in the back. Get it on!!!Connooga( Connooga DisclaimerCollapse ) (Comment on this)

_12:18 pm_[skippyjonjones] Looking for White Wolf Players Ok...I am looking for a group in Middle Tennessee to play White Wolf's Orpheus. Think Flatliners, (the movie), combined with a serious Ghostbusters. A group of scientists has perfected the art of projection, sending your spirit/soul into the spirit realm. Could be run like the show "24," with supernatural big bads....I have the core book and 5 supplements and would like to play or run it. Seems pretty cool. Go to White Wolf's website for details. I will run or play. It is set up with a specific meta plot (it was designed by the creator as a short campaign with a specific plot). I have specifically not read any of the other supplements so as not to learn the metaplot in case I am a player.ThanksTim Richterhonda305@comcast.net if interested (Comment on this)

You do not need to be an old hand at gaming and we are a very welcoming group to new players. So if you are interested drop me a line at celluloidfiction (at) yahoo (dot) com. -JoePS: We are child friendly, female friendly (we have a number of female players), and couple friendly. So don't be shy and step right up! Current Mood: happy (Comment on this)
