*sigh*
I finally got in to Student Health today and got my knee looked at. And the preliminary diagnosis is: strained medial ligament. Basically, the tendon that keeps the inside of the knee in one piece took too much abuse, and is now upset about it. The prognosis is eight to twelve weeks for complete healing. Until then, no aikido. :/
The scarier thing is that the same symptoms could also indicate a torn miniscus, which basically doesn't heal. But the other indicators of that are missing -- my knee hasn't locked up yet, and there isn't significant swelling. So, if things do get a lot worse, I'm supposed to go back and complain some more.
Hence the sigh.
