Sitting in front of me, right now, is the first complete draft of my thesis, the one being submitted to my committee. It weighs in at 139 pages. As a side note, did you know that it will cost you about $60 to make 6 copies of a 139 page document? I see how copiers pay for themselves now.

Hi! It's been a while since I posted a life update here. So here's the short version:
I'm defending my thesis on September 5. If there are no needed changes after that, I'll be Dr. Brian. And I'll be out of work, ever so temporarily. :-)
That also means I'm writing quite a bit right now; I never thought this would be so hard, but it's taken me a long time to write this thing. And I'm almost done now. It'll be nice to be done with formal education....
