SD Fires

The short story is that Kathryn and I are OK. We are living now living in the Clairmont section of San Diego, which is about as far away from the fires as you can get right now, and is under no threat currently.
Kathryn's Dad and step-mom are staying with us right now -- they were ordered to evacuate last night around 9:00, so we now have 4 humans, a dog, a cat, and 2 rats living in our 2 bedroom apartment. We don't have an internet connection set up yet, so I'm sitting outside Starbuck's typing this while ash dances in the air around us.
Two times in four years. This is getting surreal.
