What a trip!

I should have dropped a quick note in here last week to say that Hawaii was a blast, and no, we left before the earthquake, so I wasn't there when it happened. Kathryn and I had a wonderful time hanging out with my family and all that. The highlight of the trip was either the sunrise on Haleakala (despite the cold up there -- 10,000 ft just before dawn with a little wind = feels like ~30 degrees) or the big turtle we saw while snorkeling. Either way, awesome trip.
The main reason I haven't written anything here yet is that I've worked every day since we've come back. Basically, I'm in a big push trying to finish off my microfabrication so I might have an experiment to run. I've almost got it right....
*sigh* I'm off to fight with a plasma etcher now. I hope you all have a good day; mine is likely to be frustrating.
