| | Monday August 8th, 201110:19 pm - Otakon Has Come And Gone, 2011Well, Otakon wasn't the most interesting ever, but it wasn't the worst by far. It involved a lot of walking around (about 8 miles a day, according to my Pokewalker!) and a lot of hanging around. I didn't do much of anything except go to the Dealers' Room, Artists' Alley and one panel (which was pretty terrible!) Mostly I hung out with my friend Flea and some cohorts. I saw some people I knew, (Hi Miss Darcy!) and overall had a good time. Drawbacks, I missed my friend Brian who usually comes to Otakon, and it was TOO FREAKING HOT. Also, usually I get to hang out around Baltimore a bit, but I did NO hanging out in Baltimore because it was just too hot. I did get a Bubble Tea and Sushi so that's not all bad.Also, lots of tourists took my picture.. espc. when I walked into a pink sugary candy shop wearing my 6 foot tall Lolita get-up with Lady Gaga's "Born This Way" blasting on the stereo, I was immediately assaulted by at least six little girls asking to take my picture with their cell phones, lol. Also Flea introduced me to some people so maybe I will make some new friends?
