- Calvin K. Antonza The Martin Walls Accounting… • 12K followers Why Your Amazing Posts Are Getting No Sales (And How Meta Ads Can Fix It) For example, here's a scenario I see play out with small business owners. Imagine you're a baker in Lagos with 2,000 Instagram followers. You post beautiful cake pictures daily. Your content looks beautiful. Your cakes are also looking lovely. But you're only getting 2-3 orders per week or even no orders. . This is what most small business owners don't understand... Posting regularly is good, but organic reach has a limit to which it can reach. . The sad reality of social media today is that only 5-10% of your followers actually see your organic posts. You could have 5,000 followers, but only 300 people see each post. And out of those 300, maybe 10 or even no one is actually ready to buy right now. That's why you're getting likes but no sales. . But sponsored ads change everything... With Meta Ads, you can show your posts to exactly the people who need your service when they need it. . Let's continue with our baker example: Instead of hoping followers would see organic posts, this is what a strategic approach would look like: Use Facebook Ads to target: - People within 15km of the bakery in Lagos - Ages 25-45 (prime cake-buying demographic) - Interested in birthdays, weddings, celebrations - Who have purchased from local bakeries before . This targeted approach could easily transform weekly orders from 3 to 18+ because you're reaching people who actually need cakes right now. Same beautiful products. Same great service. Strategic audience targeting. . This is the power of Meta Ads... You're not waiting for people to accidentally find you. You're putting your business directly in front of people who are already looking for what you offer. . If you're a small business owner or you recently learned a skill, organic posting alone won't give you sustainable growth. You need to start setting aside a budget for sponsored ads. Even ₦250,000 monthly can transform your reach and results. . Stop hoping the algorithm will favor you. Start putting your business where your customers actually are. . If you're ready to turn your social media followers into paying customers... at Kagitals Digital Agency, we help brands get seen by the right people at the right time. Let us handle your Meta Ads so you can focus on serving your customers. . #antonzacalvinkarim
- Motolani Omotuyi Clapmi HQ • 2K followers I spoke at the Nest Wallet Lagos Mixer, where I shared some thoughts on what it means to be a web3 consumer or builder. In a space like web3, the lines between being a consumer and a builder often blur. But here’s the thing: you can do both, and you should. Some highlights from my talk: 1️⃣ Being a builder in web3 isn’t just about coding. You can build by creating content, designing user experiences, managing communities, or driving impactful conversations. There’s a role for everyone, no technical skills required. 2️⃣ Learn and build credibility first. Before jumping in, take time to understand the ecosystem. Credibility opens doors to opportunities and partnerships that help you make a real impact. For women looking to get started, WomenInDeFi offers free resources and a community ready to support and guide you every step of the way. I also spoke about MANSA and how we’re driving real adoption in stablecoin payments. The CEO, Mouloukou S. and COO, Nkiru Uwaje bring a wealth of experience in payments infrastructure and web3, and their leadership has shaped our journey. In just six months, MANSA has facilitated 27millioninon−chaintransactionvolumeandsecured27 million in on-chain transaction volume and secured 27millioninon−chaintransactionvolumeandsecured10M funding from Tether.io. This is proof that expertise and determination can unlock massive opportunities in this space. 3️⃣ Don’t just be a consumer. It’s easy to sit on the sidelines, but the real magic happens when you get involved. Whether it’s contributing to projects, starting your own, or amplifying the work of others, there’s always a way to add value. One question I kept getting asked was: How easy is it to move from web2 to web3 ? My answer: Easier than you think! Many of the skills you already have, whether in marketing, product development, or community building—are highly transferable. The key is to immerse yourself in the ecosystem and find where your unique strengths can shine. Web3 thrives when more of us step into the builder mindset. It’s not about being perfect, it’s about showing up, learning, and creating. The space is still early, and there’s so much room to make an impact. If you’ve been thinking about getting more involved, start today. Join a community, contribute to a project, or launch something of your own. The best way to learn is by doing. Big thanks to Nest Wallet & Iam Etefia for organizing such an inspiring event, and to everyone who joined the conversation.

A Nigerian startup reached out with big promises: “We love your energy.” “There’s a stipend in the works.” “You’ll be designing our full app soon.” It sounded exciting. I was clear about my skills — I’m a UI/UX designer. But on day one, the work had nothing to do with design. They handed me a media and marketing title — without asking. No portfolio review. No clear scope. No design tasks. Just vague expectations and dodged conversations about pay. Still, I tried to stay optimistic. I kept asking: “When do I start design work?” “What’s the actual plan here?” “Can we talk about payment?” But every question was met with “soon,” “not yet,” or just silence. I never got to design the app. Never got paid. And eventually, I left. Quietly. Professionally. Then came the twist. Weeks later, the founder reached out again. Not about my work. Not with a thank you. Not with the stipend. Instead, the messages shifted into something… uncomfortable. Personal. Unprofessional. Inappropriate. And it became painfully clear: I was never valued for my skills. Just my presence. That experience taught me one thing: If people don’t take your craft seriously from day one, they never will. 🚩 If they don’t review your portfolio before assigning a role — walk away. 🚩 If your job title changes without your consent — that’s not opportunity, it’s confusion. 🚩 If payment is “coming soon” but never discussed clearly — don’t stick around. Designers, creatives — you’re not here to fill gaps. You’re not here to be “useful.” You’re here to do your best work and be respected for it. Have you ever been given a job you didn’t sign up for? Let’s talk about it.
- Faizat Hussein Rankingonai.com • 34K followers When I decided to niche down after school I was scared I kept thinking about everything that could go wrong What if my income reduced What if choosing one path limited my opportunities What if the skill I chose wasn’t even needed Most companies I came across had one person handling everything. Writing, design, video editing, automation. That was how I started too. It helped me build range and adapt fast. So niching down to one thing felt like throwing all that away. But it wasn’t. It was actually the best decision I’ve made so far All those skills I picked up now feed into what I do as an SEO manager Writing helps with clarity Design helps with structure Automation helps with systems SEO requires a bit of everything, and because I’ve done a bit of everything, I can do SEO better. So when people ask me if they should niche down, here’s what I tell them First, gather experience. Try different things. Experiment. That’s what your early stage is for. Then when you’ve seen enough and learned enough, choose one path and stay on it. Give yourself time, two to five years, to grow roots in that one thing You don’t become an expert by trying something new every few months You become one by staying long enough to understand it deeply I'd love to hear your perspective PS. stay glued to my YouTube channel I'll be sharing something exciting very soon on Digital marketing https://lnkd.in/dmUUGnB2
- Omolara Sanni Midddleman • 9K followers Before we built our AI sourcing assistant, here’s what a typical business owner in Nigeria importing from China had to go through: 1. Open the 1688 app (all in Chinese). 2. Screenshot product pages, reviews, and descriptions. 3. Paste them into Google Translate, one by one. 4. Go back, scroll, screenshot again. Repeat this for every detail. 5. Convert the prices from CNY to naira manually. 6. Still end up asking: “But is this jewelry non-tarnish? What’s this fabric actually made of? Can I trust these reviews?” This process took hours, and even then, there was no guarantee of accuracy. That’s what we set out to change. With our AI sourcing assistant, a user can simply paste the product link from 1688 into Midddleman and instantly: - The entire page is translated into English (product details, specs, reviews). - Prices are shown in naira, not yuan. - An AI chatbot sits on top, so you can ask questions like “What material is this jewelry made of?” or “Is it non-tarnish?” In seconds, something that used to feel like a puzzle becomes clear. This isn’t just about translation, it’s more about trust and speed. SMEs no longer have to rely on guesswork. They can make smarter, faster, and more confident decisions when sourcing products from China. And for us, this is just the beginning. As AI continues to evolve, the sourcing experience will only get sharper, from predicting the best time to buy, to verifying supplier reliability, to automatically recommending better alternatives. AI is not a buzzword for us. It’s a real tool solving real problems for African businesses today.
- Gideon Ugbeh SEOexpo • 4K followers We did it. A few weeks ago, a client who runs a leading Web3 company in Lagos reached out completely frustrated. They’d been publishing content for months but nothing was moving. There was no traffic. visibility or results. So, I took a closer look. After auditing their website, the problem jumped out immediately: -poor on-page SEO, -missing conversion intent, and content built for algorithms instead of people. It wasn’t that their team wasn’t working hard ,they were just working without direction. So, we stripped things down. I built a new strategy focused on conversion-driven queries and refreshed their existing blogs to meet SEO best practices. Every piece was optimized for relevance, intent, and clarity. The goal wasn’t just to rank it was to convert. Within a few weeks, the difference was clear. Their content started showing up where it mattered. Their Organic traffic grew, rankings improved and Impressions spiked. But beyond the metrics, this project revealed something bigger: SEO in 2025 is changing. With AI now handling most top-of-funnel searches, the real competition has shifted to BOFU content the kind that helps users make buying decisions, compare options, and build trust. Growth now comes from market-driven strategy, and not just volume. The brands that will win are the ones that combine AI efficiency with human insight, by creating content that doesn’t just attract clicks but drives decisions. Do you also agree with the BOFU era of SEO or disagree? #seo #web3 #AEO #growthmarketing
