Collected data in real time provide fast intervention of relevant services to extinguish the fire. Timely information about the appearance of fire reduce the number of areas affected by this fire and thereby minimizes the costs of fire extinguishing and the damage caused in the woods. The current way of detecting fire in an open area in Serbia is not in real time, and due to this, it is necessary to implement modern technology of collecting data related to early detection of fires. This paper presents an integral project of forest-fire protection on the territory of Serbia in order to provide the reference for the application of terrestrial automated system for early detection and prediction of forest fires. An automated system could be comprised of infrared and high-resolution TV camera surveillance, covering a large part of the forest area and forest land.

Deformation of the natural magnetic earth field by introducing ferromagnetic objects and electric... more Deformation of the natural magnetic earth field by introducing ferromagnetic objects and electrical devices leads to the creation of an anomalous magnetic field in which a person resides. The longest period of time a person resides in bed is in a static position, and according to scientific facts, the magnetic field change has significant impact on health. The paper calculates the magnetic field in a real bed with a ferrite structure and a mattress with ferrite springs. The author also presents the latest scientific findings on the health effects of staying in enhanced magnetic field for longer rest periods during night breaks.

A brief review of derivation of two groups of approximate closed form expressions for the electri... more A brief review of derivation of two groups of approximate closed form expressions for the electrical scalar potential (ESP) Green functions that originates from the current of the point ground electrode (PGE) in the presence of a spherical ground inhomogeneity are presented in this paper. The PGE is fed by a very low frequency periodic current through a thin isolated conductor. One of approximate solutions is proposed in this paper. Known exact solutions that have parts in a form of infinite series sums are also given in this paper. In this paper, the exact solution is solely reorganized in order to facilitate comparison to the closed form solutions, and to estimate the error introduced by the approximate solutions. Finally, error estimation is performed comparing the results for the electrical scalar potential obtained applying the approximate expressions and the accurate calculations. This is illustrated by a number of numerical experiments.

In this research the SAR and temperature distribution are obtained by numerical solutions of the equation of electromagnetic waves propagation and by bioheat equation, respectively, and are shown inside different biological tissues and organs during exposure to electromagnetic radiation from a mobile phone. As electromagnetic properties of tissues depend on the electromagnetic waves frequency, the value of SAR and temperature will be different for different tissues and organs. The maximum absorption of electromagnetic energy is in the surface layers of the model, whereby this value is greater than the maximum allowed value defined by standards. Furthermore, the increase in temperature is the highest in those biological tissues and organs that are closest to the source of radiation i.e. a mobile phone. Moving away from a mobile phone, the temperature decreases, but more slowly than the SAR values. In the analysis of the temperature rise resulting from tissues and organs heating due to the effects of electromagnetic fields on a child's head, special attention will be given to the maximum temperature increase in the brain.

Frequencies of number of NPIs differed between gender (p = 0.024) and median number of NPIs was 2 in females and 1 in males. Mean length of VA application was 114 ± 184.8 weeks. Median time between first diagnosis and start of VA was 1.3 months. Surgery was negatively associated (sur =-2.06, psur < 0.001), chemotherapy and UICC IV were positively associated with getting VA (chemo = 1.00, pche = 0.012 UICC IV = 1.81, pUICC IV = 0.012). Receiving NPI was negatively associated with male gender (♂ =-1.37, psur = 0.002) and positively associated with radiation and chemotherapy (che = 0.84, pche = 0.043 rad = 2.06, prad < 0.001). Patients received more radiation therapy prior than post admission (prad = 0.028). There was no significant difference in the frequencies prior and post admission for surgery and chemotherapy (psur = 304, pche = 0.409), (rad/sur/che prior: 32%/31%/34%, post: 24%/64%/38%). Conclusions: IO therapies are part of lung cancer patient care in our centre. Results suggest that AM therapies address patients' needs and are more often used by women and patients with advanced lung cancer. Conventional therapies are essential components in integrative oncology.

At the end of 1980, it was determined that the frequency of 6.66 Hz is responsible for anxiety-depressive states and that all subjects who manifest such disturbances vibrate on this frequency. Materials and Methods: The BDORT technique was applied to evaluate parameters associated with the subject's status (Sirtuin-1, TERT, TP-53, Zoloft, Thromboxane B2, Acetylcholine, DMAE, Thymus Gland). Furthermore, the GAP- 7 and HAMD psycho-aptitude tests were applied to evaluate the subject's anxiety-depressive level. At the end of the evaluation, the subject was treated with the OPFT (Opposite Phase Frequency Treatment), i. e., with the counter-phase frequency of -6.66 Hz, in order to cancel the 6.66 Hz frequency. The treatment was performed by listening, with headphones, to the specific anti-frequency, elaborated thanks to the combined use of artificial inte...

P... more The toxic effect of microwave radiation (MW) causes the change in the metabolism of polyamines. Polyamines (spermine and spermidine) and their precursor, diamin putrescine, are non-protein nitrogenous bases and they are essential to the function of the cell. Spermine and spermidine are catabolized by the enzyme polyamine oxidase (PAO), while the catabolism of putrescine is under the effect of the diamine oxidase (DAO). The neurohormon melatonin participates in maintaining the normal function of the immune system. The aim of this study was to analyze the effect of melatonin on the catabolism of polyamines in the rat thymus, following the chronic microwave exposure. Wistar rats were divided into four experimental groups: 1) control group, 2) Mel-the animals which were given melatonin daily (2mg/kg), 3) MW-the animals which were exposed to MW (4h daily), 4) the animals which were exposed to MW and were given melatonin daily. The animals were sacrificed after 20, 40 and 60 days of the experiment. There was an increase in the PAO activity and decrease in the DAO activity (already after 20 days) in comparison to the control in the thymus of rats exposed to microwave radiation. There was also a statistically significant positive correlation (p < 0.05) between malondialdhehyde levels and the activity of PAO during the MW exposure. A significant decrease in both PAO and DAO activity was found in the thymus of animals exposed to MW and treated with melatonin, in comparison to the irradiated animals not treated with melatonin.

Melatonin (MLT) is a neurohormone with strong antioxidant capacity, involved in numerous physiological processes. In this study we evaluated the capability of MLT, administered in a single dose of 50 mg/kg, to preserve the testicular tissue function after an acute administration of CCl 4 to rats. The disturbance in testicular tissue and the effects of MLT after CCl 4 exposure were estimated using biochemical parameters that enabled us to determine the tissue (anti)oxidant status and the intensity of arginine/nitric oxide metabolism. Also, the serum levels of testosterone and the histopathological analysis of tissue gave us a better insight into the occurring changes. A significant diminution in tissue antioxidant defences, arginase activity and serum testosterone levels, followed by the increased production of nitric oxide and extensive lipid and protein oxidative damage, was observed in the CCl 4-treated group. The application of MLT after the CCl 4 caused changes, clearly visible at both biochemical and histological level, which could be interpreted mainly as a consequence of general antioxidant system stimulation and a radical scavenger. On the other hand, the application of MLT exerted a limited action on the nitric oxide signalling pathway.

In this way, an inhomogeneous magnetic field whose values are higher than the Earth's natural magnetic field is generated. The presence of humans or their body parts in anomalous magnetic fields has become the focus of health concerns. For this reason, the magnetic field for different types of beds with ferromagnetic parts, such as mattresses, has been calculated in this paper. Our results showed that exposure to magnetic fields revealed the zones with higher magnetic induction for some type of beds. In the end, new material and new design processes have been suggested in order to maintain a healthy lifestyle.
