Everyday HeroesEveryone Needs a Hero – Tell Us About Yours

Everyone needs a hero, and the Garden State is home to some of the world’s most inspirational stories – both big and small. As we’ve learned through the concept of Areté, anyone can actualize their highest sense of self with moral excellence of character, and hopefully for the greater good.

Who do you feel is brave, determined, and dedicated? Who went the extra mile to make a difference in your life? Who is the person who inspires you to be your best? Who has guided you to overcome your obstacles? This is a great opportunity to say “Thank you” to those individuals who go above and beyond to make a difference in other people’s lives, and we’d like to hear about them! Your hero does not need to be famous; they could be someone you know personally. Your hero must be from New Jersey.

Your hero may be permanently featured at New Jersey Hall of Fame’s Everyday Heroes Exhibit at the American Dream Complex in East Rutherford, on social media, and on our website.

The New Jersey Hall of Fame is where you want your heroes to be, and now, they have a chance to be!

We know there are many heroes throughout New Jersey, so let’s celebrate the good in our New Jerseyans! We encourage you to nominate your hero today!

Share your submission below, or tag #njhofeverydayheroes on Facebook or Instagram. Please note that your Facebook Post and/or Instagram Profile must be “public” in order for us to view your submission.

We accept all formats of photo, video, and text content.

Once your nomination has been successfully submitted, you will see an acknowledgement, “Thank you for your submission.”

Notification of Nominee Being Featured: If your nominee is selected to be featured, we will attempt to notify you via email, so that you may notify your hero.

*All submitted videos will become content owned by the New Jersey Hall of Fame, for use across digital and physical media channels. Minor edits may be made for concision and clarity. Submissions are subject to approval and no questionable content is allowed.

We are proud to celebrate those selected to be featured in the “_Everyday Hero_” Exhibit for their positive contributions to New Jerseyans. However, please note, this is a separate recognition from New Jersey Hall of Fame Inductees.
