- CSS plays a fundamental role in how we experience the web. For CSS Naked Day, we’ve removed it from our homepage to highlight the difference it makes. Take a look before everything is back to normal: https://lnkd.in/e5KVHnDq
- When AI is built into your IDE, deterministic and non-deterministic tools work together in one place – and your IDE gets a lot smarter. This combination can help reduce one of the biggest risks in software development: loss of understanding. You don’t want to end up with a system you no longer fully understand, how it can break, or what assumptions the agent made. The IDE remains the control plane, and AI helps where you read, refactor, debug, and test. We discussed this in our recent Spec-Driven AI Development livestream with Paul Everitt and Dmitry Jemerov. If you missed it, you can now watch the full recording: https://lnkd.in/e7Scpick
- “It proved to me that Claude Code isn’t magic but a bundle of very clever tricks rolled up into a neat package. The harness layer is just software, and software is something any developer can shape to fit how they want to work.” Check out Jacob Lee's practical guide to building a custom agent with LangChain's Deep Agents, LangSmith, and the Agent Client Protocol:https://lnkd.in/ezP-2NVf
- Why do so many Java open source projects fail? In the latest Marco Show episode, Andres Almiray (Java Champion, creator of JReleaser) breaks down the real reasons: from poor communication and lack of sustainability to release chaos and burnout. 📺 Watch the full episode: https://lnkd.in/eXiendvRAlso available on your favorite podcast platforms.
- We’re now hiring in Spain! 🇪🇸 It’s our newest location, and we’re expanding the team quickly – with 70+ open roles. Spain has one of Europe’s strongest tech talent pools, and we’re here for the long run. Our Madrid office is the starting point, and we’re looking to build a team across the country. If you want to help develop tools that matter, are ready to take ownership, and care about doing things properly, take a lookhttps://lnkd.in/eHb-d6E6
- How aware are professional developers of different AI coding tools, and how widely are they actually adopted at work? Explore the data on the AI dev tool market landscape in our blog post https://jb.gg/o1qmhq.
- The real risk isn’t the technology. It’s misunderstanding how it actually works.
- We’re seeing AI agents produce working software in domains with established expectations and measurable outcomes, for example, re-creating a C compiler or a working browser. But the harder part is deciding what to build and how. We still haven’t seen agents make those product decisions end-to-end. In most real projects, the hard part isn’t coding, but product-level decisions – what features to build and what approach to take in building them. We discussed this in our recent Spec-Driven AI Development livestream with Paul Everitt and Dmitry Jemerov. If you missed it, you can now watch the full recording: https://lnkd.in/dpdG5bZT

Having a monorepo comes with many advantages – until you actually try to navigate it.Wiz has millions of lines of Go code in a single repository. At that scale, things like indexing, refactoring, or even finding usages quickly become bottlenecks. With GoLand, their IDE of choice from day one, these workflows stayed fast and reliable as the repository grew: 🔹 Refactoring large parts of the codebase without breaking things. 🔹 Navigating the repo without slowdowns. 🔹 No freezes or long waits. Read the full story here: https://lnkd.in/dztpmTvm - “Migrations have always been a stamina problem. Not anymore.” – Sendil Nellaiyapen, Engineering Leader at Uber In our upcoming Blueprint++ webinar on April 7 at 3:00 pm UTC, Sendil shares how he uses agentic orchestration to handle the grunt work, so senior engineers can maintain their creative flow. In the session, he also explores: • The guardrails his team uses to protect code quality and security in the age of AI. • Advice for leaders managing tool sprawl. • Where AI can make the biggest impact.
