In this paper chemical constituent, mechanical properties and durability of bf is reviewed. Also, properties of bfrp like temperature variation and adhesion is also discussed. It is observed that bfrp is better than carbon fiber reinforced polymer when it comes to cost effectiveness and in comparison, to glass fiber reinforced polymer it got better strength therefore becoming a good alternative to other fiber materials. Bfrp has high flexural strength and better adhesion as compared to cfrp and gfrp, when temperature increases mechanical and thermal properties of bfrp reduces remarkably.

Many of the students from urban areas having good communication skills are getting good job opportunities easily. However, the category which is the rural students is just having the dream of getting an employment due to lack of communication skills. Hard skills and experience are not at all enough for the competitive and escalation in the global world. The rural students also should get employment; otherwise, it will become very serious and critical. The paper describes an experiment to measure and develop the skill at a rural pharmacy college with the help of 45 h communication skill course. We found that there was statistically significant improvement in the course students in overall communication skill, sentence construction, and vocabulary as per self- and peer-assessment. The volume and enunciation, as per the peer assessment, also underwent statistically significant improvement. The group discussion seems to have contributed the most and brainstorming the least in the improvement. We concluded that rural students who are studying pharmaceutical education should be given opportunities to learn and practice interpersonal communication skills during their educational curriculum. The study can be extended to more institutes to validate the findings and can include written communication skill.

Robotics systems are being introduced for various household services as well. As the interactions between the workspace of robots and humans increases, there is an increased likelihood of unintended harm being caused by the robots to humans due to collisions or abrupt contact. To mitigate this, active and passive compliant mechanisms must be introduced in these systems. In this study, a design optimization case study is carried out for the optimization of a passive compliance mechanism achieved with variable stiffness joints realized by the use of permanent magnets. Three design parameters of the systems, namely, inner stator width, outer stator width, and magnet height, are considered. The objective is to minimize the weight and maximize the maximum torque. A nature-inspired metaheuristic hybridized with a multi-criteria decision-making method is introduced to achieve this. The Non-dominated So...

Design for remanufacturing is guided by an assessment of product or component value over time. This value may vary depending on the market and market demand and supply, legislation and technological improvements. Obviously the goal of design for remanufacturing is to improve manufacturability. Through this project we aim to study the various key parameters which needs to be considered for optimum designing of a new product or an existing product from the view of remanufacturing. Technology and Economic model will are developed using these key parameters for the selective components and they are employed for coordination and testing via simulation, finally with the solution of the updated parameters design of updating can be accomplished.

To exploit the full potential of such laminated structures, it is important to understand the effect of various material and geometric parameters on its static and dynamic behaviour. Conventionally high-fidelity numerical procedures like finite element methods have been used to carry out such analysis. Despite their overwhelming accuracy, such methods are computational time intensive making them unsuitable to carry out exhaustive parametric studies. To counter this, a polynomial regression-based metamodeling strategy and its subsequent use as a quick parametric analysis tool is depicted in this study. The metamodels are meticulously built and rigorously validated on the training and testing data using suitable statistical measures like〖 R〗^2,〖〖 R〗^2〗_adj and 〖Q^2〗_F3.

In this regard, remanufacturing is viable option to reduce energy usage, carbon footprint and raw material usage. In this manuscript, using computational intelligence techniques we try to determine the feasibility of remanufacturing in case of roller bearings. We collected used N308 bearings from 5 different Indian cities. Using Fuzzy-TOPSIS, we found that the roundness, surface roughness and weight play a vital role in design for remanufacturing of roller bearings. Change in diameter, change in thickness and change in width showed minimal influence. We also used Taguchi analysis to reassess the problem. The roundness of inner and outer race was found to be the most influential parameters in deciding the selection of bearing for remanufacturing. The results suggest the bearing designer to design th...

turn of a pole controlled by hand or by an engine is changed over to direct movement. A rack and pinion are normally
found in the controlling component of autos or other wheeled directed vehicles. Rack and pinion give a less proficient
mechanical favorable position than different components, for example, recycling ball, yet less kickback and more

Analysis of meshing of rack and pinion is done by using ANSYS while keeping the environmental temperature at 22°C.
A load of 100 N is applied for time 5min 44sec. In total deformation test, maximum value found is 1.9387X10-5metre and
in Equivalent Von-Mises Stress the maximum values found is 1.6702X107Pa respectively.

A generalized first-order shear deformation theory is used in the current research. An isoparametric 4 node Lagrangian element with 3 degrees of freedom per node is used to mesh the modeled structure. The finite element program developed is tested for accuracy by comparing the current results with existing literature. Less than 5% error is reported between the existing literature data and the current simulations. A symmetric single folded composite laminate is extensively studied, and the following results have been provided as interaction curves.

Surface quality and cylindrical errorof drilled holeare significant parameters for functional behavior of mechanical components which improves tribological properties, corrosion and fatigue strength. Analyses of these parameters are to be carried out for prediction of thrust force, tool wear and torque requirement. In this paper AISI 316L austenitic stainless steel is considered for analysis, which is a difficult to cut material due to his poor machinability. This study investigates the machinability of austenitic stainless steel AISI 316L during conventional drilling process using uncoated carbide tools for the various parameters like cylindrical error, tool wear, surface roughness, circularity. With cutting velocities (30 and 18 m/min) and three feed rate (.06, 0.045 & 0.03 mm/rev) with variation of three different levels are considered for factors with selection of 1 st , 4 th and 7 th holes for optimization. Taguchi desirability function analysis is used with control factors to optimize influencing parameters like tool wear, surface roughness and diametrical error. Analysis shows cutting velocity of 30 meter/minute & feed rate 0.03 mm/rev yields optimized values for these parameters. This study implies that with this combination we can produce number of précised holes as there is not that much substantial change in values for tool wear, surface roughness and diametrical error.
