Weekend update1 (original) (raw)
So, he's getting adjusted to his new sleep time drifting off on his own, on a day that I ran behind schedule...but quickly awoke alerting me he didn't find his highchair as comfy wishing to be moved to the family bed. Well, he didn't say this, but I read his cues.
He's so easily disturbed, though, when we're all sleeping. I move so much during the night in attempt to find a minute's comfort with this 8 months pregnant belly, a 20 month old, and a snoring husband in one queen sized bed. I love having my son near feeling safe and proctected. So, I have begun to implement the move to his own mattress next to the family bed(he can leap out of the crib and we haven't picked up a toddler bed until we're sure we'll use it).
All in all, I've found great success with nap time and night time. So, we will start the longest portion of the sleep plan, which is getting him to sleep simply based on the word "sleep". I'm so glad that he knows what this word means as it makes the next step a bit easier.
