With the analysis of the multiaxial fatigue behavior of the thin wall specimens and notched speci... more With the analysis of the multiaxial fatigue behavior of the thin wall specimens and notched specimens of GH4169 alloy as well as the state of the stress-strain by using the Finite Element Method(FEM),a new damage parameter for multi-axial fatigue is proposed by means of von-Mises criterion based on the critical plane approach.In the new damage parameter,the triaxial factor is introduced.For the new damage parameter,the maximum shear strain and normal strain on the critical plane are taken into account,and the effect of stress state under the multiaxial cyclic loading condition on the fatigue life is taken into account as well.This parameter without containing empirical constants is easy and convenient for engineering application.By combining the proposed damage parameter with the Manson-Coffin equation,the fatigue life prediction model is established.And the experimental verifications show that the new fatigue life prediction model is more accurate in predicting the high temperature multiaxial fatigue life of the thin wall specimens and the notched specimens.

The research method used in this research is descriptive with qualitative analysis. Data collection is obtained from interviews, documentation, and observations. The results showed that the work quality of the employees of the East Medan District Head Office, Medan City was still low in terms of handling documents and procedures were still convoluted and slow and not transparent in terms of costs. Techniques of data collections are data reduction, data presentation, and data verification (conclusion). The role of counseling teachers in SMA Negeri 1 Sarudu is used to educate and assist students in solving their problems through counseling at school. But the result showed that not all students had good perceptions of the counseling guidance by teachers. There were some of them assumed that counseling teacher at this school was less assertive in dealing with students who often skipped class.

Gerrymandering is the practice of manipulating voting district boundaries to gain political advan... more Gerrymandering is the practice of manipulating voting district boundaries to gain political advantage in democratic voting. The geographic information system (GIS) becomes a versatile tool for that. This paper describes how to use the GIS for gerrymandering, in the practice of both cracking diluting the opponents voting into many districts, and packing concentrating the opponent’s voters into fewer districts. The use of GIS makes extreme gerrymandering relatively easy to do. Even when we understand it to be bad for democracy since it facilitates for the politician to choose his/her voters, gerrymandering is generally allowed by law. Restricting the practice of gerrymandering turns out to be a legally challenging proposition. We discuss some approaches to legislation against gerrymandering. Believing that the GIS can be part of the solution, we call for GIS researchers to work with legal professionals to formulate regulations to contest and disallow gerrymandering.

This paper assessed the application of the Agricultural Production Systems sIMulator (APSIM)–maiz... more This paper assessed the application of the Agricultural Production Systems sIMulator (APSIM)–maize module as a decision support tool for optimizing nitrogen application to determine yield and net return of maize production under current agricultural practices in the Nigeria savannas. The model was calibrated for two maize varieties using data from field experiments conducted under optimum conditions in three locations during the 2017 and 2018 cropping seasons. The model was evaluated using an independent dataset from an experiment conducted under different nitrogen (N) levels in two locations within Southern and Northern Guinea savannas. The results show that model accurately predicted days to 50% anthesis and physiological maturity, leaf area index (LAI), grain yield and total dry matter (TDM) of both varieties with low RMSE and RMSEn (%) values within the range of acceptable statistics indices. We seek to increase people's prioritization of computer security and their understanding of the variety of attacks and technologies that can be vulnerable to compromise. We work towards this goal via fun: more specifically, via a recreational tabletop card game where people play as white hat hackers. In this paper, we describe our goals and experiences in creating this card game. We licensed a game mechanic from a hobbyist game company, worked with graphic designers and illustrators, and rewrote card text to make the game about working as a computer security professional. We discuss the possibilities for expanding the educational benefits of this game, both in and out of the classroom. Desain penelitian ini adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) dengan tahapan penelitiannya, yaitu 1) menyusun rencana, pada tahap ini peneliti menyusun rencana dengan cara menyusun perangkat pembelajaran maupun instrument penelitian yang berupa LKPD; 2) melaksanakan tindakan, peneliti melakukan proses pembelajaran dengan memberikan LKPD pada peserta didik, pada tahap ini juga terdapat proses observasi; 3) observasi; dan 4) refleksi, peneliti melakukan penilaian terhadap hasil LKPD dari peserta didik. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SMK Muhammadiyah Aimas Kabupaten Sorong pada peserta didik kelas X TKJ/MM. Jahe dapat meningkatkan daya tahan tubuh seseorang, sebab kandungan polifenol yang ada dalam tanaman herbal itu memiliki banyak khasiat. Salah satunya meningkatkan imunitas tubuh. Di Desa Pasiran Kecamatan Bantan Kabupaten Bengkalis terdapat satu UMKM yang melakukan kegiatan pengolahan minuman jahe untuk dijadikan minuman ekstrak secara tradisional. Permasalahan yang dihadapi oleh pelaku UMKM tersebut adalah proses pengolahan atau proses ekstaksi jahe membutuhkan waktu yang cukup lama dikarenakan proses ekstraksi dilakukan secara konvensional sehingga kurang produktif dan tidak efisien.
