Assistant Professor in Criminology at The University of Nottingham, joining the School of Sociology and Social Policy in January 2015.

Vice President in charge of conferences of the Society for Terrorism Research (STR) and Co-Editor of the journal Behavioral Sciences of Terrorism and Political Aggression.

Prior to joining The University of Nottingham, I was a Senior Lecturer in Criminology and Security Studies at Birmingham City University and the Programme Director for the Undergraduate Criminology degree provision. My previous employment includes: Associate Lecturer in Politics at the University of Ulster; and Lecturer in Social Sciences, teaching Criminology, at the University of Chester.
