I hit a plateau and did not lose any weight for a while. As of last Thursday I was 194 though. I have been eating whatever I want, whenever I want since the Michael was born, but I hadn't had any trouble up until I started back at work. Hopefully I can keep going, but I don't think I am ever going to lose my belly...all that skin just droops and sags, and there is a saggy slit of skin resembling a popped balloon replacing my belly button. Yuck!

[**mood** |curiouscurious]Well I'm new to the community. I'm a little dissapointed that this community isn't more recent. I'm hoping to start dieting now that my daughter is about 6 months. I'm looking for a safe way to lose the weight without jepordizing my daughters health. I'm a 25 yr old mom of 2. Both girls. One is 3yrs old and the other just turned 7mo. I'm currently 210lbs. My heaviest was 250 or so after my first daughter. I got down to about 200 and then had my second. I Did better with the second pregnancy about not eating so much. And I lost alot of it right after delivery. But I'd really like to get down below 200. My Pre-pregnancy before my first was 180. Even that is a little heavy for me. I've never been very petite, but I just want to feel comfortable in my own body. Right now that is definatly not the case, and it is starting to weigh on my self-esteem (pun intended). Anyway, Here I am and i'll just be watching and hopefully getting some pointers on how to start this journey. :)

Hi! [Jun. 27th, 2006|01:09 am]Nursing moms losing weight!
Hello! I'm Crystel!I hope I'll be posting in this community. I have a baby girl named Arabelle. She's 7 months old. I'm 5'10" and I weigh roughly 200 lbs. I'm the Matron of Honor in my best friend's upcoming wedding in October, but I don't want to look too "matronly" if you know what I mean! My first goal is to get down to 180 (and then lose more after that).I joined Weight Watchers about a month ago and lost about 7 lbs but have kind of "fallen off the wagon" the past week or so (it was my husband's birthday). I'm gonna try and get back on the wagon! I have a bridesmaid dress to fit into!

Uggh, I hate conflicting advice! I've read as little as four pounds a month and as much as 8-10 is safe to lose, so I'm confused. Because there's quite a difference between 4 and 10.It seems that 1-2 pounds a week is what I hear most commonly, so that would be 4-8 a month. I've been losing 3-6 a month. I try to watch what I eat and I work out 3-5x a week. My daughter is 11 months old and I've lost around 54 pounds all together, and 18 since I actually started trying to lose weight. I've also lost over 17 inches o_0 I bought some new (to me) clothes yesterday and I can actually fit into most larges now, yay!

I am now down to 208, and at first I was upset that I've only lost 58 lbs. Then I think about it, and that is in just over six weeks. Not bad!

My name is Sandra, I am 24 years old and I just had my second child May 8, 2006. I gained a total of 94 lbs with this baby, and I was about 35 more than my pre-pregnancy weight when I got pregnant with this one. I am breastfeeding exclusively and so far have lost 52 lbs, though a lot of it was probably water and baby...my baby was 9 lbs 11 oz. I got up to 266, and I am now 214, and I am 5'10". I don't think I want to get as small as the 135 I was, but 150 would be nice. Any suggestions?

I did it. [Aug. 25th, 2005|11:31 pm]Nursing moms losing weight!
Went and joined WW tonight. I'm not so concerned right now with loosing as to simply reign in the upward drift while I'm bf'ding. I get SO freaking ravenous. I've put on almost 19 lbs since my six week evaluation. Baby's six months old.Got my husband to join me. He's a love. I weigh almost as much as he does. One thing that is spurring me on is my right knee hurts all the time now.
