We consider the system's functioning such that this functioning is fulfilled according to the... more We consider the system's functioning such that this functioning is fulfilled according to the given network of actions. It can be alternated at some moments - generally, due to the impact of the system environment. The impact of the environment, thus system functioning, and the functioning alternations results are characterized by random values. To systematize possible states during the network fulfillment and possible alternations of the functioning, we propose a new type of graph-theoretic model—a Complex State - Transition Tree of Action Networks. Each node of the tree corresponds to the system's state, and each branch to the possible system state transition and both may take complex forms. Each possible part of the system (workplace) state corresponds to the possible action or waiting for the action realization. The states of the tree of possible states correspond to the possible cuts and possible alternation cases of the networks of actions. To create trees of possible states, an algorithm to build such trees from alternated networks of operations provided.

The article outlines conceptual and derivative formal models that provide means for estimation of... more The article outlines conceptual and derivative formal models that provide means for estimation of operational properties of agile systems operation with regard to the use of information technologies. The estimation is fulfilled analytically through plotting the dependences of predicted values of operational properties against variables and options of solved tasks. To develop this type of models, the use of information technologies during agile systems functioning is analyzed through a technological agile system. General concepts and principles of modeling of information technology use during operation of agile systems are defined. An exemplary modeling of effects of technological informative and related technological non-informative operations of technological agile systems operation is provided. Based on conceptual models of operation of agile systems with regard to information technologies use, set-theoretical models followed by functional models of agile systems operation using information technologies are introduced. The examples of calculated factors of agile system operational properties and information technologies use are given. The obtained results allow to evaluate predicted values of agile systems operational properties and information technologies use; they help to analytically estimate the efficiency of implementation of new information technologies depending on variables and options in solved tasks.

Such models are used, for example, to estimate the usage performance, efficiency, and effectiveness indicators of information technology. In addition, such models could be used for the estimation of dynamic capability and indicators of system potential regarding the use of information technology. The estimation is obtained by plotting the dependencies of predicted values of operational properties of the use of information technology against the variables and options of the problems to be solved. To develop this type of models, we analyzed the use of information operations during system functioning. This is done through an example of a technological system. Basic concepts, principles, assumptions, and models are provided for such model construction.

Dynamic capability defined as the operational property of a system that describe its ability to adapt to changes of the system’s environment. Operational properties indicators of IT usage defined as a kind of system operational properties indicators under conditions of changing environment in such a way that it is possible to estimate their values analytically. Such estimation fulfilled through plotting the dependences of predicted values of operational properties of IT usage against variables and options of problems solved. To develop this type of models, the use of information technologies during system functioning analyzed through an example of a technological system. General concepts and principles of modeling of information technology usage during operation of such systems defined. An exemplary modeling of effects of technological information and related technological material (non-information) operations of technological systems operation provided. Based on concept models of operation of technological systems with regard to information technologies usage, set-theoretical models followed by functional models of technological systems operation using information technologies introduced. An example of operational properties indicators estimation considered based on ARIS diagramming tools usage.

We consider a new mathematical formalism, which allows us to model alternative functioning cases ... more We consider a new mathematical formalism, which allows us to model alternative functioning cases due to changing system environment conditions and the environment's impacts. Models: to research dynamic capability organizational capability, sustainable development, information technology capability of the system, can be created based on suggested families of alternative stochastic action networks. Such families are complex of basic graph-theoretic objects and mappings between them. They describe functioning in terms of the alternative action networks, which can be interrupted and alternated. Such alternations form families of alternative stochastic action networks. We plan to built and use suggested models using process mining and process science techniques.
