My Bio
I joined deviantART in September 2002, was appointed Shoutbox Moderator in March 2004 and became part of general volunteer support in May of that year, gaining volunteer admin status that August. I moderated in dAmn through its beta stages at a time when I was the only chat moderator. When the Community Development team formed, I assisted them until August of 2005.
In August 2005, I became a part of the Artist Relations team and my energies and attention were focused on the Traditional Gallery where my partners in crime were De-Profundis, zeruch, and alchemism. That was fun and lasted about a year or two until I was done.
That's my back story. It is probably through this volunteer service that I received the senior denotation.
Now, what are these badge thingies?

Not to mention some of my formats are not perfectly square so it's awkward trying to get them to fill the space in an inherently square format. Just finished taking down a show and was trying to get good pictures but the lighting wasn't obliging me so I'll have to re-shoot them all. When I do, this is how I will try to go about it: 1) Will for the weather to give me a perfectly overcast day with no rain and take my photo outdoors. Diffuse lighting is
Or do you know Jan Mankes painting techniques? I'm having a devil of a time finding out what colors this Dutch artist's palette consisted of. Also, can I just say---wow these paint fumes are pretty intense! This might not actually be a healthy thing to do, sitting in this building, just me and these intense paint fumes. Phew!
Does anyone have personal experience using these palettes? What do you think about it? How do you typically arrange your palette? How tall are you? I'm already decided on buying one but can't decide which would suit my frame and painting style best. Product listing and details here: http://www.newwaveart.com/Products.aspx
