Holly and I went to check out a couple of comic book stores in Meriden. The first was actually in Wallingford where I picked up a copy of Shadow Tracers. (Alice remember Kyle's friend we kind of met at the diner, yeah he was doing some kind of signing. It was awkward.) The second was some tiny place in the basement of a really weird looking real estate building. Seriously, weird. Like any other comic book store there's the room in the back for all the geeks playing dungeons and dragons, or magic, or some other kind of role playing game. I glance through the door. MY FATHER IS SITTING AT THE TABLE. He used to have tons of people over to our house when we were little girls to play D & D, but I didn't realize he still played and I didn't realize that's where he went when he left the house on Saturday mornings. And of all the places to go we had to pick the one where my dad geeks out. On our way back outside I realized that we had parked next to him.

I SAW MR. TRAVERSO TODAY AT BORDERS!!!!!!!1 I didn't talk to him or anything. While in the midst of conversation I ever so discreetly stared at him as he headed towards what I'd imagine was the history section. My mother just commissioned me to do a painting! (To hang in a corner above an ugly sink in her toilet store. :/)Sebastian stepped in blue oil paint the other morning. Trapsing through the house on blue kitty paws.Alexis: Johnny is on the cover of a magazing. It is hott.
