Today is the official release date of Tactics Ogre: Let Us Cling Together for PSP! So...has anyone picked up a copy yet? Thoughts on the new gameplay additions/translations?(My copy should be arriving on my doorstep this evening...I'm so excited!)

Sorry for the all caps, but yes, it's true, there is an Ogre Battle remake......but it's not by SquareEnix.. Apparently, a computer science major has taken on the project of remaking Ogre Battle under the mantle "Ogre Conflict." [ mood \| ecstatic ] As reported by to Kotaku (and confirmed by myself), Ogre Battle: the March of the Black Queen has been released on the Wii Virtual Console!The cost: 800 Wii points. For the uninitiated, that's roughly 8 bucks. So if you have a Wii, for 8 bucks you can play Ogre Battle. That's not bad, considering how rare this game is.I have yet to download this game to see how it plays, but I just had to let you all know.

ecstatic ] As reported by to Kotaku (and confirmed by myself), Ogre Battle: the March of the Black Queen has been released on the Wii Virtual Console!The cost: 800 Wii points. For the uninitiated, that's roughly 8 bucks. So if you have a Wii, for 8 bucks you can play Ogre Battle. That's not bad, considering how rare this game is.I have yet to download this game to see how it plays, but I just had to let you all know.

I don't think this has been asked here before, but... Has anyone heard of a fan-made Ogre Battle/Tactics Ogre-based game made in any make-your-own-game program, like RPG Maker or anything? And if so, where/when, with what, etc...Peace!

Despite having no artistic ability, I have decided to draw some fan art of Ogre Battle: March of the Black Queen.Ths was prompted by a contest on Newgrounds, in which one was supposed to draw a "high-definition" version of a video game sprite. Even though I have the drawing skills of a three-year-old, I decided to enter it, just so I'd have the excuse to draw some Ogre Battle artwork.( MOTBQ Princess sprite and artwork Collapse )If you do want to take it and add it to your site or make icons or anything, no credit needed, seriously.

So, I just started playing LUCT again the other day, and picked up on my Lawful-Route game... it's actually my first time playing through the Lawful-Route, because when I get to the point of the game where you determine the route you'll choose, I could never help but keep playing the Chaotic route. Anywho... I don't recall this being addressed before, but I have always wondered: If another Ogre Battle-series game was to be made, where would it take place?And the other question, of course... Which character from currently or previously released games would make an appearance?Here is a list of people I'd like to see in/ I think will have a recurring appearance...Naturally, Deneb, and her pumpkin-men, of course... (hopefully with a bigger role!) Radlum/AlbeleoI'd like to see Sisteena and Canopus again, because they rock. And, of course, Yulia. I think Selye and Zapan would make a cool pair (or part of a larger group) of recurring characters. I think they'd have some entertaining chemistry. Cybil would be cool to see again... As well as everyone else from TKOL (considering the time elapses). Rashidi (another of course). Well, I'm kind of rambling now... Responses? Complaints? Anything?I love the OB series.

For me, the site March On, Black Queen doesn't work, and hasn't worked for months. However, I have anecdotal evidence that it is still in operation. So is the site down or does it still live?Edited 10/10/06 -- I tried to reach the site about around 20:00 (8:00 p.m.) today and guess what! It worked!

I'm considering selling my M64 along with a copy of Ogre Battle 64 and a few other games. What I have is the following.- The N64 itself with the AV cable and the AC adapter- A controller- Ogre Battle 64 (bought used long ago)- Legend of Zelda, Ocarina of Time- Super Mario 64- Starfox 64I have the box and instructions for the N64 and Ogre Battle, and instructions for Zelda and Starfox. I live in Canada, so shipping will vary depending on where in the world you live, but I expect that it'll be about $15-20 USD. Well, hello to everyone- this is my first post as I just joined. I just wanna say that the Ogre Battle series is one of my favorites- I never beat MoTBQ, althoguh I have gotten to the end... I seem to do that a lot. But I've beaten LUCT countless times and love it to death even more. I'll go ahead and say that the doll mage/ warlock might very well be my favorite character. I may not be great at fanart, or that skilled as an artist in general, but I'll give a shot at sketching some pictures of the ogre battle/ tactics ogre crew. Nice to know there are still Ogre Battle fans existing in the world today! :)palerabbit

[ mood \| Very, very, happy. ^_^ ] Wow, words cannot express how happy I am to have found you all! See, I thought that I was the only one in the world that loved Ogre Battle or, for that matter, knew what it was. Um, with that bit of ecstatic hysteria out of the way, I guess I should tell you more about my history (read: obsession) with the Ogre Battle/Tactics Ogre series. The first Ogre Battle I had ever played was Ogre Battle 64: Person of Lordly Caliber and, needless to say, I fell in love with it; the story line, the characters, the dialog, all of it appealed to me. Then, after I got married, my husband fed my addiction when he bought me Tactics Ogre: Knight of Lodis and Tactics Ogre: Let Us Cling Together. I was so happy that I could've of screamed, but, for the sake of my husband's ears and sanity I didn't. XD Umm, I wrote fan fiction for it when I was still in High School and I did some fan art as well. dances So, with all that ranting aside, hello fellow Ogre Battle fans, I'm so happy to have met you. ♥

For some odd reason, I never am able to make any progress on any of my fanfic, but I decided to write this useless piece that came to mind today. It's really fluff, but it does contain spoilers for the plot of March of the Black Queen and Tactics Ogre: The Knight of Lodis (with a hint to events in Tactics Ogre, a game ironically, enough, I have only played fifteen minutes of...long story).( Bad Collapse )
