The examined samples of C. luteus were distributed between II-IX years of age. The length-weigth relations of females and males were calculated as Log W =-4.7314 +3.0113 Log FL and Log W = -4.7631 +3.0263 Log FL respectively. Von Bertalanffy growth equations were estimated as Lt=40.09 [1-e^-0.087036 (t+1.55004)] for females and Lt=38.14 [1-e^-0.080056 (t+2.34838)] for males. The somatic condition was 1.9667 ± 0.1751 for females and 1.9967 ± 0.4205 for males. The observed samples of C. trutta were distributed between I-VI years of age. The length-weigth relationship of females and males were calculated as Log W = -4.6845 + 2.9303 Log FL, Log W = -4.7784 + 2.9746 Log FL, respectively. Von Bertalanffy growth equations were estimated as Lt=35.36 [1-e^-0.082817 (t+4.82738)] for females and Lt...

Despite the low incidence of cases(1.2%) and high mortality rate(2.4%) among Turkish population, the low mortality rate(0.3%) despite the high incidence(11.5%) declared in healthcare workers drew our group’s attention. Therefore, we aimed to report the characteristics of infected health-care workers and investigate the relationship between BCG vaccine and tuberculosis history with COVID-19 mortality in infected health-care worker population.MethodThis study was conducted in three hospitals to assess the clinical presentations, disease severity and correlation with BCG vaccine and tuberculous history in COVID-19 positive health-care workers by an online questionnaire platform. The relationship between characteristics and tuberculosis history were investigated according to hospitalization status of the patients.ResultTotal of 465 infected healthcare workers included in the study. After GPA (General Procrustes Analysis) performed, ANOVA (Analysis of Variance), PCA (Principal Component Analysis), CVA (Canonical Variance Anlysis) and DFA (Discriminant Function Analysis) analysis were conducted by MorphoJ and PAST. In CV (Canonical Variance) Analysis, the permutation p-value of the mahalanobis and procrustes distance between the two species (p<.0001) shows that the difference is quite significant. As a result of the reclassification done by the analysis, we see that 79% of C. umbla and 77% of C. trutta are classified correctly.

Success rate of classifiying the groups according to the discriminant analysis of meristic characters of G. variabilis individuals appeared as 49.3 %. Kulp and Kayser Stream from the locality groups, showed similar dispersion. It is determined that there is high variation between the locality groups belonging the samples of G. variabilis according to the morphometric and meristic characters.

The smelts were caught with a trawl net mesh size of 6 mm. The captured specimens are described and compared. Records of A. boyeri from Turkish inland waters are summarised from the literature.

It is known that nearly 600 million tons of fly ash is produced in the world per-annum. In Turkey, the annual production of fly ash is, on average, 13 million tons and only a small amount of this is utilized. This study examines the production of light-weight, high thermal insulating bricks made out of the fly ash and lime. Cylindrical brick samples were produced through steam curing of Seyitomer thermal power plant fly ash and lime mixtures in an autoclave in order to determine the optimum conditions for mechanically sound bricks. Subsequently, at the optimum conditions determined, real-size bricks were produced and subjected to standard tests. The findings of this paper suggest that fly ash/lime bricks can be an alternative product to aerated cellular concrete.

For this purpose, a se¬ries of separation tests were conducted using a pilot scale heavy media separation drum. Based on the obtained upgrading results the washability of the test coal is evaluated. Fur¬thermore, for different clean coal qualities, the expected upgrading results are computed un¬der consideration of the actual test results.
