God’s plan for marriage covenant is permanence, sacredness, intimacy, mutuality, and exclusiveness. That husband and wife (family) are the light of the covenant already established as Christ and the Church (cf. Mark 10:6-9). However, there are lots of challenges in the 21st century, such as the disconnection between love and procreation, the privatization of marriage and family, the increase in divorce, adultery, abortion, contraception, same-sex marriage, and many others. Therefore, the worth and call of marriage and the family is slowly being overlooked. The paper presents how the mystery of redemption could be read in the sweetness of marriage and the family, and how the experience of marriage and the family in the mystery of redemption should be understood and lived in the Church’s witness to the world at large. It affirms that, "Marriage and family are institutions that have been for centuries the image of unity despite differences in culture, religion and civilization, and to some extent, have reflected the belief that neither man nor woman is perfect or complete without the other." Therefore, the paper acknowledges that Christian marriage always exists within a culture and is influenced by it.

In this research, the study seeks to expose the extent to which the Salesian Prevention System bears on students learning process and the following were the specific questions for research: How does reason affect students on the learning process at City of Hope Secondary School? Does religion affect the interest of a student in the learning process at CHSS? To what extent does loving kindness influence the students learning process at CHSS? Finally, to what extent is repression influence the student’s learning at CHSS? The findings of this research were aimed at improving the learning process of the students of CHSS in four development of a person (body, heart, mind and spirit) and get the best out of it together with all the participants in the process. In analyzing the data, the researcher used the pie charts, tables, direct quotations and graphs so as to systematically present the data collected. In the sequence, the researcher had the chance to speak to the head girl and head boy. He (the researcher) had also time to interview teachers (Salesian sisters) on the ground of prevention not repression system which accompany them in the delicate process of growth in their humanity and in faith, that is good Christians and upright citizens. The growth and increase in number of NGOs in the recent years has, however, also meant increased competition for donor funding Ebrahim et al (2010) and the need for greater accountability and visibility not only at the local constituency level, but also internationally. All the above factors as well as external factors such as the fast changing environment and increased globalisation have made the management of NGO operations very complex. This has forced the donors to adopt and introduce results-based management (RBM) to improve the effectiveness and accountability in the management, operations and implementation of programmes of NGOs. The RBM system is based on what is commonly referred to as a 'life cycle' where 'results' are central to planning, implementation, monitoring and evaluation, reporting and ongoing decision-making (Hailey and Sorgenfrei, 2004). By focusing on 'results' rather than 'activities', RBM helps NGOs to better articulate their programs and support for expected results and to better monitor progress using indicators, targets and baselines. Results based reports also help the organisation(s), stakeholders and funders to better understand the impact that a given programme or project is having on the local population. NGOs have been striving harder to employ RBM procedures and principles in the programming. However, not all NGO's have been equally successful at embracing Results-Based Management principles (Norad, 2008). There is often skepticism and inadequate capacities and skills with regard to the effectiveness of results-based management practices among NGOs.
