Først og fremmest er det vigtigt at forstå at rodukrudt er et problem, som er langt sværere at tackle end frøukrudt. I løbet af vækstsæsonen opsamler rodukrudt næring i rødder eller udløbere.

One thing that is really important to understand about perenneial weeds is that it is a problem, which is much harder to manage than annual weeds. During the growing season perennial weeds collect nutrients in roots or stolons.
