Die Broschüre enthält einen umfangreichen Sortenteil, in dem speziell für den Biolandbau geeignete Sorten beschrieben werden. In erster Linie werden Sorten mit den für den Biolandbau relevanten Eigenschaften, und welche als Biosaatgut verfügbar sind, aufgelistet. Ergänzt wird der Bereich mit den bundesweiten Ergebnissen aus Praxisversuchen, die im Rahmen des Projektes „Bionet“ angelegt wurden.
