This online version of the encyclopaedia of cereal diseases illustrates and describes the symptoms and life cycle of both common and less frequently found diseases of cereal crops. A photo gallery is also available. In organic farming systems, where curative methods are limitate, the correct diagnostic of the diseases are crucial to plan correct crop rotations and to deploy other preventive practices. The encyclopaedia addresses to any farmer, organic or conventional, who wants to improve his/her cereal diseases identification skills.
