Le contrôle des adventices, en culture biologique, est une problématique récurrente qui demande des solutions innovantes. Dans le cadre du projet européen SoilVeg, le CRA-W et 13 autres partenaires dans huit pays d'Europe (Danemark, Estonie, Lettonie, Slovénie, Belgique, France, Italie et Espagne) ont eu l'occasion de teste la faisabilité et l'intérêt d'utiliser la biomasse de couverts d'hiver, comme le paillage pour la culture suivante, afin, entre autres, de gérer le développent des adventices.
Summary translation
Weed control in organic farming is a recurrent problem that requires innovative solutions. Within the framework of the European project SoilVeg, the CRA-W and 13 other partners in eight European countries (Denmark, Estonia, Latvia, Slovenia, Belgium, France, Italy and Spain) had the opportunity to test the feasibility and interest of using the biomass of winter cover crops as mulch for the following crop, in order to manage weed development, among other things.
