| What problem does the tool address?: | The evaluation of a variety includes its agronomic performance compared to other varieties (including a reference) in a production trial, the feedback of the producer working with the variety as well as its attractivity for the consumer. We have developed simple Excel files to allow for the evaluation of varieties of tomato, broccoli or bean. |
| What solution does the tool offer?: | These tables allow for the collection of measurements in a variety trial of tomato, beans or broccoli under production conditions. Three files allow to collect data for the agronomic assessment of the varieties. One file contains a simple form to acquire feedback from the farmer hosting the trial.The last file contains tables that allow for simple organoleptic evaluation of the varieties during a untrained degustation session. |
