Der Einsatz von Mitteln zum Entwurmen ist im Biolandbau nach vorgängigem Erregernachweis und tierärztlicher Verordnung erlaubt. Dennoch ist es erstrebenswert, den Medikamenteneinsatz im Biolandbau möglichst gering zu halten und auf präventive Massnahmen zu setzen, zum Beispiel durch ein angepasstes Weidemanagement.
