India is a federal democracy, the one which has clear demarcation of powers, responsibility and r... more India is a federal democracy, the one which has clear demarcation of powers, responsibility and revenue collection between the states and the Centre in its constitution. The next logical step that is taken towards a widespread indirect tax reforms in India is the introduction of Goods and Services Tax (GST). The new GST regime will trigger a transformational shift from a complex multi-layered indirect taxation system to a unified indirect taxation system. GST will also propagate a positive change by ensuring cascading of taxes is reduced, thus leading to manufacturing synergy in India. Goods and Services Tax or GST is a consumption-based tax, which is levied on goods and services at the place where final or actual consumption takes place. It will be collected on value-added goods and services at each stage of sale or purchase in the supply chain. Goods & Service Tax (GST) would be to eliminate the double taxation. GST is also known as the Value-Added Tax or VAT. It will replace all indirect taxes levied on goods and services by the Indian Central and state governments. The new GST regime will trigger a transformational shift from a complex multi-layered indirect taxation system to a unified indirect taxation system. This article gives insights into the implementation of GST in India. It focuses on the influence and implications of GST on the various stakeholders like the customers, businesspersons, government. The corporate and the legal barriers that separate the various banking and investment sectors are less well defined and the cross-over are increasing. In this competitive financial environment of the banking sector, the banks not only competes with each other but also with non-banks and other financial institutions. Banking sector reforms and emerging of foreign and domestic private banks with vast range of new banking products have changed the banking perspective. This diversity could make a positive or negative impact on banks customers to remain loyal to a particular bank or to switch to another bank whichever is more beneficial. The basic objective of this study was to investigate the factors which the credit customers consider while switching to other banks. The researcher identified the factors that have to be given high emphasis by management of the bank in Wolaita Zone while designing the strategies in credit areas like Price, Banks credibility, Quality of services, Bank Proximity, Promotional Activities, Customer Satisfaction and Cost of Switching. The data was gathered through structured questionnaire from credit customers. A causal cross sectional survey was conducted among all the credit customers of bank in Wolaita Zone. A sample of 186 customers were selected by using systematic random sampling technique. Descriptive and Inferential statistics were used for analysis of the data using SPSS version 22 and under Inferential statistics, multiple regression analysis was used to identify the determinants of perceived switching behaviour of credit customers. The results showed that Cost of Switching has the highest impact on credit customer perceived switching behaviour, followed by Price, Promotional activities and customer satisfaction. It was recommended that the banks' employees of the branches should be considerate towards their customers in releasing and recovery of loans, be polite and responsive to the customers' requirements and give personalized attention, by putting customer's best interest at heart, understanding specific needs of customers.

Banking sector reforms and emerging of foreign and domestic private banks with vast range of new banking products have changed the banking perspective. This diversity could make a positive or negative impact on banks customers' loyalty and switching. This study investigates the seven factors namely Price, Reputation, Service Quality, Location, Promotion, Customer satisfaction and Switching cost which the loan customers may consider while switching to other banks. The study was undertaken between Jan 2017-May 2017.A causal cross sectional survey was conducted among 450 purposively selected loan customers (who have taken loan more than 100000) of seven banks of Ethiopia in Addis Ababa. Factor analysis and multiple regression analysis were used to identify the predictors of switching behavioural determinants among customers. Based on the findings it can be concluded that Price, Service quality, Location, Customer satisfaction and switching cost variables significantly affects switching behavior of loan customers while Reputation and Promotion by the bank do not have significant effect on switching behavior of customers. Out of five significantly effecting factor Location (accessibility of the bank) is the most important factor followed by Price (loan interest rate) followed by service quality (consideration, personalized attention to the customer).

The study is to investigate buyer’s point of view about the impact of brand awareness, perceived ... more The study is to investigate buyer’s point of view about the impact of brand awareness, perceived quality and customer loyalty on brand profitability and purchase intention. Further the study is also focused on finding out the mediating role of purchase intension on the relationship of brand
awareness and profitability, perceived quality and profitability and brand loyalty and profitability. The study was causal in nature and data was collected from 100 customers. The results showed significant impact of brand awareness and loyalty and significant impact of perceived quality on profitability. Further the results revealed significant impact of brand
awareness, perceived quality and loyalty on purchase intention. It also showed that purchase intension mediates the relationship of the perceived quality and profitability only. Consumers choosing from a set of brands with marked awareness differentials showed an overwhelming
preference for the high awareness brand, despite quality and price differentials. They also made their decisions faster than consumers in the non awareness condition and sampled fewer brands. In summary, awareness differentials seem to be a powerful influence on brand choice in a repeat purchase consumer product context. Consumers show a strong tendency to use awareness as a heuristic and show a degree of inertia in changing from the habit of using this heuristic.

It is observed that the employees are taking a lot of time to acclimatize to the new work place since they are lacking knowledge about the various aspects of the organisation and where to consult for their work regarding doubts and issues and to start their work. Newly joined employees possess high anxiety levels and many of them quit their job in their early stages of work. So induction helps an employee to know about the work place and their job responsibilities. Motivation has been shown to have roots in physiological, behavioral, cognitive, and social areas. Motivation may be rooted in a basic impulse to optimize well-being, minimize physical pain and maximize pleasure. Motivation is an inner drive to behave or act in a certain manner. These inner drives such as wishes, desires, goals, activate to move in a particular direction in behavior.

However, to keep and attract more passengers, public transport must have high service quality to satisfy and fulfil a wide range of different customer's needs. The purpose of the study is to examine the influencing factors measuring customers' satisfaction, especially the impact of the factors on customers' satisfaction with public transportation in Wolaita Sodo Town of SNNPR. The data was gathered through a structured questionnaire from the public transport commuters. A cross-sectional survey was conducted among 385 randomly selected public transportation passengers in Wolaita Sodo Bus Terminal, Wolaita Zone. Descriptive and Inferential statistics to analyze the data using SPSS version 22. Under Inferential statistics, multiple regression analysis was used to identify the relationships between factors influencing customer satisfaction and commuters' satisfaction. The results showed that the Fare system has the highest impact on customer satisfaction, followed by Transport comfort, Services provided and Scheduled timings. Three other factors, namely accessibility, Availability of facilities and Terminal environment, were insignificant to customer satisfaction. The analysis of the variance of demographic variables on customer satisfaction with public transport showed that gender, Age, and marital status were statistically insignificant in predicting customer satisfaction. In contrast, Religion, income level, and travelling frequency were statistically significant in predicting customer satisfaction. A flexible and affordable fare rate system should be encouraged and implemented for all routes at different distances to make the service more affordable, satisfy customers' requirements, and be competent and profitable for the enterprise.

Research and development (R&D) aids in acquiring new information, which is then used to enhance currently available items and add brand-new ones to the company's operations. R&D is a methodical inquiry with the goal of bringing innovations into the business. Research and development are used in a variety of areas and businesses. The highest R&D investment is often found in the pharmaceutical, software, technology, and semiconductor industries. Generally speaking, industries with businesses that have a lot of intangible assets report significant spending on R&D. A firm might benefit from research and development since it gives them the chance to gather important knowledge about the items used in their sector. But it may also be costly and dangerous. The goal of the research and development process is long-term progress, not instant financial gain. Due to the fact that this activity does not instantly result in a profit, there is some risk involved. The article is an empirical study to give insights into the knowledge related to R&D.

This study investigates the factors influencing loyalty switching among loan customers in private banks operating in Hyderabad, India. Understanding customer behavior is essential for banks to enhance customer satisfaction and retention strategies.The research methodology involved comprehensive surveys and in-depth interviews conducted among a diverse
sample of loan customers across various private banks in Hyderabad. Findings indicate that customer service quality and digital banking experiences significantly impact customer loyalty. Additionally, interest rates and convenience play pivotal roles in customer decision-making processes. The study provides valuable insights into the preferences and expectations of loan customers in private banks, shedding light on the areas that banks should focus on to enhance customer loyalty and retention
efforts. The results provide practical implications for banks to tailor their services and improve customer experiences, ultimately fostering customer loyalty. This study's outcomes are crucial for private banks in Hyderabad and can serve as a foundation for further research.

The retention and retaining ef cient and experienced workforce in an organization is very crucial for the overall performance of any organization. In the current competitive environment, organisations face a lot of dif culties and one among these is satisfying and retaining talented employees. Reward practices are fundamental to satisfying employees in any sector. The main objective of this study was to examine the effects and in uences of reward practices which is a panacea for job satisfaction of employees. For this study, causal research design was used to indicate cause and effect relationship between reward practices and employees' job satisfaction. Strati ed random sampling technique was used to determine the number of employees from private educational institutions. The sample size used for this study purpose were 140. Under primary sources of the data, researcher assisted 5-point Likert Scale questionnaire was used. Both descriptive and inferential statistical analysis techniques were used. To analyze the collected data, SPSS version 21.0 was applied. In this study, independent variables are extrinsic rewards like salary, fringe bene ts, promotion and intrinsic rewards like job autonomy, job recognition and task signi cance are considered. The study indicated that extrinsic reward practices have higher impact on job satisfaction of employees in private educational institutions in Hyderabad. Finally, the study recommends the managements to ensure the existing reward practices fairly implemented among employees.

The main objective of the study was to find out the impact and evaluate the Corporate Social Responsibility activities on community development by the contributions of Public University in India. The identified independent variables for this study were education, health, environmental protection, employment opportunity, roads construction and security. To bring this objective into life, the researcher used primary sources of data; which was collected through structured questionnaire with five point Likert scale. The researcher employed causal research design for this study. The target populations of the study were household heads or residents living in that area or vicinity of the University. 459 sample size was determined by using Yamane's formula, and the researcher had employed judgmental sampling technique to select the representatives. This research is quantitative in approach; hence, the collected data was analyzed by using correlation and regression models through SPSS version 21. And it has been found that employment opportunity has the highest impact on community development, followed by health, education, environmental protection and security respectively whereas the factor roads construction was found to be insignificant. Based on these findings possible recommendations that contribute to the betterment of the community which leads to the development are forwarded.

Three other factors, namely accessibility, Availability of facilities and Terminal environment, were insignificant to customer satisfaction. The analysis of the variance of demographic variables on customer satisfaction with public transport showed that gender, Age, and marital status were statistically insignificant in predicting customer satisfaction. In contrast, Religion, income level, and travelling frequency were statistically significant in predicting customer satisfaction. A flexible and affordable fare rate system should be encouraged and implemented for all routes at different distances to make the service more affordable, satisfy customers' requirements, and be competent and profitable for the enterprise.

Companies employ this technique to either develop new items or increase the efficacy of their current products. It could also try to address a particular problem with a good or service. Research and development (R&D) aids in acquiring new information, which is then used to enhance currently available items and add brand-new ones to the company's operations. R&D is a methodical inquiry with the goal of bringing innovations into the business. Research and development are used in a variety of areas and businesses. The highest R&D investment is often found in the pharmaceutical, software, technology, and semiconductor industries. Generally speaking, industries with businesses that have a lot of intangible assets report significant spending on R&D. A firm might benefit from research and development since it gives them the chance to gather important knowledge about the items used in their sector. But it may also be costly and dangerous. The goal of the research and development process is long-term progress, not instant financial gain. Due to the fact that this activity does not instantly result in a profit, there is some risk involved. The article is an empirical study to give insights into the knowledge related to R&D.

This study investigates the factors influencing loyalty switching among loan customers in private banks operating in Hyderabad, India. sample of loan customers across various private banks in Hyderabad. Findings indicate that customer service quality and digital banking experiences significantly impact customer loyalty. Additionally, interest rates and convenience play pivotal roles in customer decision-making processes. The study provides valuable insights into the preferences and expectations of loan customers in private banks, shedding light on the areas that banks should focus on to enhance customer loyalty and retention

The retention and retaining ef cient and experienced workforce in an organization is very crucial for the overall performance of any organization. In the current competitive environment, organisations face a lot of dif culties and one among these is satisfying and retaining talented employees. Reward practices are fundamental to satisfying employees in any sector. The main objective of this study was to examine the effects and in uences of reward practices which is a panacea for job satisfaction of employees. For this study, causal research design was used to indicate cause and effect relationship between reward practices and employees' job satisfaction. Strati ed random sampling technique was used to determine the number of employees from private educational institutions. The sample size used for this study purpose were 140. Under primary sources of the data, researcher assisted 5-point Likert Scale questionnaire was used. Both descriptive and inferential statistical analysis techniques were used. To analyze the collected data, SPSS version 21.0 was applied. In this study, independent variables are extrinsic rewards like salary, fringe bene ts, promotion and intrinsic rewards like job autonomy, job recognition and task signi cance are considered. The study indicated that extrinsic reward practices have higher impact on job satisfaction of employees in private educational institutions in Hyderabad. Finally, the study recommends the managements to ensure the existing reward practices fairly implemented among employees.

The main objective of the study was to find out the impact and evaluate the Corporate Social Responsibility activities on community development by the contributions of Public University in India. The identified independent variables for this study were education, health, environmental protection, employment opportunity, roads construction and security. To bring this objective into life, the researcher used primary sources of data; which was collected through structured questionnaire with five point Likert scale. The researcher employed causal research design for this study. The target populations of the study were household heads or residents living in that area or vicinity of the University. 459 sample size was determined by using Yamane's formula, and the researcher had employed judgmental sampling technique to select the representatives. This research is quantitative in approach; hence, the collected data was analyzed by using correlation and regression models through SPSS version 21. And it has been found that employment opportunity has the highest impact on community development, followed by health, education, environmental protection and security respectively whereas the factor roads construction was found to be insignificant. Based on these findings possible recommendations that contribute to the betterment of the community which leads to the development are forwarded.
