[翻訳] BORN - 涙彩の花 (original) (raw)

| | Here's another one I had lying around. The kanji are off the net, unfortunately that page doesn't exist anymore, I just checked. Ooops. Romaji and translation are done by me. It's my favourite BORN song, so I thought I'd give it a try. Please don't repost without permission, thank you. 涙彩の花俯く人達 雑草が笑う 日の消えた時代 光が欲しい届かない想い歌う 届けたい だから歌う らららってツギハギの幸せなら今すぐに捨て去ればいい笑いたい芽生えた 罪と罰 泳ぐ 華憐いつの日も いつまでも 枯らせはしないさよなら 血で血を洗った日々よもう二度と 泣きたくはない だから歌うよ渇いた地の月夜 誰かに響きますように届かない想い歌う 届けたいだから歌う らららってツギハギの幸せなら今すぐに捨て去ればいい芽生えた 罪と罰 泳ぐ 華憐いつの日も いつまでも 枯らせはしないさよなら 血で血を洗った日々よもう二度と 泣きたくはない だから歌うよruisai no hanautsumuku hitotachi zassou ga warau hi no kieta jidai hikari ga hoshiitodokanai omoi wo utau todoketai dakara utau rararatteTSUGIHAGI no shiawase nara ima sugu ni sutesareba iiwaraitai mebaeta tsumi to batsu oyogu karenitsu no hi mo itsumademo karase wa shinaisayonara chi de chi wo aratta hibi yomou nidoto nakitaku wa nai dakara utau yokawaita chi no tsukiyo dareka ni hibikimasu you nitodokanai omoi utau todoketai dakara utau rararatteTSUGIHAGI no shiawase nara ima sugu sutesareba iimebaeta tsumi to batsu oyogu karenitsu no hi mo itsumademo karase wa shinaisayonara chi de chi wo aratta hibi yomou nidoto nakitaku wa nai dakara utau yoai de michita merodiiTear-coloured flowersPeople who hang their heads weed laughs (1) in times when the daylight has vanished they want light I sing my feelings that won't reach through I want them to get through so I sing like lalalaIf it's a patched happiness, then you should abandon it right away (2)I want to laughThe sprouted sins and punishments petal-pity [1] that swims Whenever forever I won’t let them dry out Good bye, days that washed blood with bloodI don't want to cry ever again so I singSo that I may be heard by someone far away in a moonlit night of earth that had gotten thirsty I sing my feelings that won't reach through I want them to get through so I sing like lalalaIf it's a patched happiness, then you should abandon it right awayThe sprouted sins and punishments petal-pity that swimsWhenever forever I won’t let them dry outGood bye, days that washed blood with bloodI don't want to cry ever again so I singA melody that is filled with lovenotes[1] So this 華憐/Karen normally is used for female names, as Ryouga might have done here, but I decided to translate it literally, since a) it contains 'flower', and the whole song has a flower theme, b) maybe it's just me, but a random woman's name doesn't really make a lot of sense here, c) Karen, written differently, could also mean "cute", "pitiful", or "merciful". (1) To this day, this line still seems very ambiguous to me. I can't quite explain the weed, but I've got a theory. In Japan, sometimes people are likened to weed - it's those that don't look like anything, are neither pretty nor successful, but at least they're hard to kill. Whether he likens the people hanging their heads with the weed, or it's two different kinds of people, I do not know. Feel free to discuss, or tell me if you know ;D**(2)** Patched, as in patched or cobbled together. Basically, he's saying, he doesn't want a patchwork happiness, and would gladly let his go, if it turned out to be one.━─━─━─━─━─━─━─━─━─━─━─━─━─━─━─━─━─━─━─━─Lalal, lala...
