R+L Carriers Opens New Georgia Service Center
9/23/2024 - Wilmington, Ohio - Ohio-based transportation company R+L Carriers is pleased to announce the opening of a new service center in Marietta, Georgia. This facility will replace operations at the Kennesaw location, utilizing updated infrastructure and additional amenities to better service local and regional customers.
Located at 1892 Airport Industrial Park Drive, the new service center is closer to the junction of Interstate 75 and Interstate 285, the latter serving as an important thoroughfare surrounding the Atlanta metropolitan area. The facility features 229 dock doors, a three-bay maintenance shop, eight-lane fuel island and 9,500 square feet of office space. This new location offers greater capacity compared to the previous service center, reducing transit times as well as enhancing overall service capability.
Situated northwest of the company's Atlanta facility, the Marietta terminal is well-positioned to service Sandy Springs, Roswell, Johns Creek and Alpharetta, as well as other northern markets in Georgia. Overall, R+L Carriers maintains three active service centers in the state, with operations in Marietta, Atlanta and Cordele.
