Owen Wilson is currently in talks for the role of surfer/saxophone player/heroin addict Coy Harlingen, in Paul Thomas Anderson's next film, Inherent Vice. Based off of the novel of the same name by Thomas Pynchon, the film will send us back in time to Los Angeles circa 1070. Filming is rumored to begin at the end of this month with not only Owen Wilson, but Joaquin Phoenix (Clay Pigeons, Signs) and Benicio Del Toro (Way of the Gun, Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas) as well. Further casting details will likely surface closer to the filming date, and is predicted to release in theaters sometime in 2014.

The Grand Budapest Hotel, the newest adventure by Wes Anderson, finally has some concrete details available to the public! Read below:

"The Grand Budapest Hotel tells of a legendary concierge at a famous European hotel between the wars and his friendship with a young employee who becomes his trusted protégé. The story involves the theft and recovery of a priceless Renaissance painting, the battle for an enormous family fortune and the slow and then sudden upheavals that transformed Europe during the first half of the 20th century."

Previous details reveal that the film may have a couple of "era jumping" scenes where we bounce back and forth through time as well. Familiar faces from the Anderson crew will be returning to this film, including Willem Dafoe, Jeff Goldblum and of course Owen Wilson. Ralph Fiennes will play the lead role as the concierge, accompanied by Saoirse Ronan.

Due to the speedy filming, The Grand Budapest Hotel is rumored to possibly have a late 2013 release date rather than the originally projected 2014 release. Nothing is set in concrete yet, but fingers crossed we'll be seeing it around Christmas this year.

While in California filming the last of The Internship, Owen Wilson and Vince Vaughn stopped in to catch a bit of football as the San Francisco 49ers took on the Detroit Lions. The duo stood on the sidelines at Candlestick Park to cheer on the Niners, and even visited the locker room to give the players a boost.

Check out the following photos, posted on Twitter by @49ers and @MattBarrows, respectively:

And they even made it onto the Locker Room Speech video, you can watch it HERE.

It's good to see the boys having a good time together! It's that chemistry between them that makes them such a great duo on screen!

In another exciting bit of news for The Grand Budapest Hotel, Jude Law has officially been confirmed as the THIRD actor with a role in the film. He'll be taking his place in a more "fleeting" role, alongside stars Johnny Depp and Owen Wilson. Law told MTV that he actually pursued Wes Anderson for years, pestering him for a role in one of his films, and now his time has come. Who says persistence doesn't pay off?

You may know Jude Law from big-title films such as: The Talented Mr. Ripley, Bent, and Sherlock Holmes (2009). You can see his full bio here ----> IMDb

Something else exciting, is it was also mentioned that filming could begin as early as JANUARY 2013! Edward Norton again hinted that he may have a role in the film, returning for a second Wes Anderson go-around after his success in Moonrise Kingdom. This will be Wes Anderson's eighth film.
