Páirc Festival brings a celebration of Irish music and culture to the New Irish Centre in Birmingham over the August Bank Holiday Weekend!

Páirc has welcomed legendary headline acts and incredible international stars, including Van Morrison, The Waterboys, Imelda May, Finbar Furey, Mary Black, Nathan Carter, Sharon Shannon, Derek Ryan, The Fureys, The High Kings and many more!

What is Páirc Festival?

Páirc Festival is a two day outdoor festival celebrating Irish music and culture. Páirc Festival takes place at The New Irish Centre in Kings Heath, Birmingham UK over the August Bank holiday weekend.

Páirc Festival has welcomed legendary headline acts and incredible international stars, including Van Morrison, Ronnie Wood, The Waterboys, Imelda May, Finbar Furey, Mary Black, Sharon Shannon, Derek Ryan, The Fureys, The High Kings and many more.

This year, the festival will be joined by Bob Geldof, Nathan Carter, Boyzlife, The Whistlin’ Donkeys, The Tumbling Paddies and many more.

Páirc Festival 2024 will take place on Saturday 24th August and Sunday 25th August in the outdoor grounds of The New Irish Centre, Birmingham.

Can I buy a ticket on the day?

Usually, tickets are available on the day for purchase at the Box Office outside the festival entrance, however, a sell-out is expected this year so we do not expect there to be availability and recommend advance purchase.

Is there disabled access?

The festival site has accessible toilets, and we offer a free carers ticket to anyone who is in receipt of PIP (proof needed).

A sectioned-off viewing platform is available, and a hard surface at entry and exit points.

The festival site is set on outdoor grounds, and whilst we offer wheelchair access with central and side concrete paths, please be aware that the ground may be uneven in certain places.

How do I apply for a carers ticket?

If you wish to apply for a carer ticket, please buy your ticket then contact our ticket partner, The Ticket Sellers, with your order and proof of PIP.

Is there parking at the festival?

There are 100 spaces available at The Billesley pub, Brook Ln, King’s Heath, Birmingham B13 0AB, £5 per space. First come, first served.

There are 600 spaces available at Moseley Rugby Club too. Billesley Common, Yardley Wood Rd, Birmingham B13 0PT

How do I get to the festival?

Páirc Festival is taking place in Kings Heath and can be accessed via public transport.

By Bus:

Depending on the starting location, there are many bus routes close to the festival site, including:

Birmingham City Centre – the number 2 bus towards Maypole from Moor Street Queensway will get you to Billesley Common, where it will be a 13-minute walk.

You can also get the number 3 bus towards Yardley Wood from Moor Street Queensway, and walk 14 minutes from Mayford Grove.

Solihull – the number 76 bus towards Northfield, from Solihull Station Interchange, will take you to Ardencote Road, where it will be a 6-minute walk.

Birmingham Airport – get on the X12 bus towards Solihull, then change at Solihull Interchange for the 76 towards Northfield.

By Train

Yardley Wood is the closest station in proximity to the festival site but will require a 30-minute walk.

Where are my Páirc Festival tickets?

Tickets are emailed three weeks before the event.

Haven’t had a confirmation email yet?

Please double-check the email address you have entered for confirmation. You can do this by logging into your account on the TicketSellers website.

What is the security entry process?

For the safety of all guests and staff, a thorough bag check will take place upon each entry. Any alcohol found during the search process will be disposed of.

Can I bring my own food or drink to the festival?

Unfortunately, no food or drink is permitted on the festival site except for baby food and sealed water bottles. However, there will be a large variety of street food traders & bars on-site to suit all food and drink preferences.
