P&J Live venue information

P&J Live, Aberdeen, an impressive £333 million event complex, opened its doors in September 2019. This state-of-the-art facility was developed through a collaboration between Aberdeen City Council and Henry Boot Developments. It replaced the Aberdeen Exhibition Conference and Centre (AECC) and offers a remarkable 48,000 square meters of multi-purpose event space.

Getting to P&J Live is convenient and hassle-free. Located right next to Aberdeen International Airport, the venue offers excellent public transport connections. It is also easily accessible from the city's western peripheral route and is well-positioned for rail links connecting Aberdeen with the rest of the North of Scotland.

How to get to P&J Live

By foot:

P&J Live is conveniently located just 1.5 miles away from both Aberdeen International Airport and Dyce Train Station, making it easily accessible for visitors. The venue is a short walk from these transport hubs, and there are well-maintained paths surrounding the complex for added convenience and accessibility.

By bus:

Two services, including Stagecoach's Jet Service 727, operate directly through the TECA site, providing convenient transportation to P&J Live. With buses running up to every 10 minutes on weekdays and every 30 minutes on weekends, you can reach the venue in around 30 minutes from Aberdeen city centre. Stagecoach buses offer luxury features such as USB charging points and free Wi-Fi. Tickets can be purchased onboard from the bus driver on the day of travel. By train:

P&J Live is conveniently located just 1.5 miles from Dyce Train Station. Dyce is a stop on the Aberdeen-Elgin-Inverness line and also receives some through trains from Glasgow and Edinburgh.

While Dyce station is unstaffed, tickets can be purchased onboard the train.

Trains operate at least once per hour from Monday to Saturday, with reduced frequency on Sundays. The following operators provide train services to and from Aberdeen station:

● Abellio ScotRail: Offers services throughout Scotland and sleeper trains to London Euston.

● LNER: Operates East Coast Main Line trains to Edinburgh and London King's Cross.

● CrossCountry: Connects Aberdeen with a network that extends to Birmingham, Manchester, Brighton, and Penzance.

Aberdeen Train Station is just a 2-minute walk from the bus depot, from where the Stagecoach 727 service departs and travels directly to the venue’s main entrance.

By car:

Located about 6 miles northwest of the city centre, P&J Live is easily accessible for motorists via the A96 Aberdeen-Inverness road. Getting to the venue has become even easier with the opening of the southern section of the Aberdeen Western Peripheral Route, which is just a few minutes away.

Visitors travelling southbound can use Dyce Drive or A96 to enter the venue, as other entry points are designated as bus gates only. All three exits, including A96, Dyce Drive, and Wellheads Drive, may be used for exiting the venue.

Parking:

Aberdeen City Council operates three park-and-ride facilities that serve the city and shire. These sites are strategically placed along major routes into the city, specifically Kingswells and Craibstone, providing convenient access to P&J Live for visitors travelling to the venue. P&J Live also has a limited number of parking spaces on site. Ticketholders are advised to arrive early to guarantee a space. Alternatively, premium parking can be pre-booked here.

By taxi:

Next to the Hilton on the P&J Live site, there is a designated pick-up and drop-off point for taxis. Additionally, during major events, a dedicated taxi rank is available to ensure convenient transportation for visitors.
