LOS ANGELES, CA — Netflix’s “Santa Clarita Diet Season 3” premiered this Thursday in Los Angeles at the historic Hollywood Post 43 with series stars Drew Barrymore and Timothy Olyphant joined by their fellow castmates Skyler Gisondo, Malcom Barrett, Sydney Park, Linda Lavin and Goran Visnjic.

Launched in 2017, the highly popular horror-comedy series revolves around the lives of married couple Joel and Sheila Hammond (Olyphant and Barrymore), both real estate agents in the suburban town of — you guessed it right! — Santa Clarita, CA. Though both appear to be leading a normal life, there’s more to it than meets the eye, as the opening season reveals.

In season 1, the Hammonds are in for the shock of their lives when they suddenly discover that Sheila is undead, a zombie that craves more human flesh day after day. As her condition worsens, they need to find a cure to the virus fast before she becomes violent and starts hurting Joel and their daughter, Abby (Liv Hewson).

The saga continues in season 2 shedding light upon the cause of Sheila’s zombie-ism, which Joel traces back to a strain of clam from Serbia. Meanwhile, danger looms ahead as Sheila goes rabid to satisfy her insatiable hunger.

As for season 3, the couple’s biggest test is yet to come when Sheila, now aware of her immortality, offers to bite Joel so that they can be together forever and ever.

It's not so surprising that Sheila would want to convert Joel to a zombie, as Barrymore hinted on the red carpet.

"Sheila is a real delight. She feels empowered, and she just wants to love and protect those that she loves," said Barrymore.

And so — if you were in Joel’s shoes, would you dare say “yes” to Sheila? And by the way, no if's or but's, please.

The third season of “Santa Clarita Diet” is now on Netflix.
