Hello there, Pie Hole-rs!
I'm your new mod, 
acousticmuse . The previous mod, chuck_charles , has decided to step down from the site, and I would like to be the first to wish her well and thank her not only for bestowing her wonderful comm on little ol' me but also for establishing it in the first place. Three cheers for chuck_charles !
Anyway, on to official business. As you might have noticed, the site has been very slow in the last couple of months, with only a few people entering challenges. With regards to those few (we love you!), this is something I hope to change. I see so many amazing PD icons posted on other comms, so I know that these icons are still being made and our fandom is still being loved as much as it was.
So what can you do? Tell everyone you know about 
pd_challenge ! Post it to a journal, pimp it in a comm you love, whatever. This is one of the only PD icontest comms around, and I'd love for it to persevere beyond the televised end of Pushing Daisies.
As for challenges, expect a new one within the next two weeks. Once we get a few more members, I'll think of something really amazing to kick off this new chapter.

acousticmuse has offered to take over the site. And as she enters I shall leave. I will remove myself as mod and from the community in a weeks time. Its been fun and real and I hate to leave my baby, but we all must move on at some point. Look for a new message about challenge and everything from acousticmuse.

Ok, I'm really at a loss of what to do. Nearly a month and challenge still only 1 entry. Challenge entries are down since the show died, so what to do?
Should we just close this site or what?
I'm helping out chuck_charles and posting the reminder for Challenge #34! There is only two userpic icons entered and two mod icons entered. So if you could be a dear and go HERE and enter, we'd both be grateful. Its a great challenge.
I think its time for us to have a user pic and some mod icons.
Rules
[x] all icons must be 100x100 and fit lj stats
[x] icons must be new to challenge
[x] please do not post your entries anywhere until voting is complete
[x] user image must have pd_challenge written on it and mod icons must have at least MOD written on it.
[x] you may enter as many icons as you'd like and you may choice your own pics.

1. jkalen81 has taken a short leave from the group, so until she comes back I'm asking if anyone would like to feel in and help out. If you'd like to help please let me know.
2. I've moved the time lines for challenge to this.
Monday: Voting goes up and well as the next challenge.
Sunday: 2weeks from challenge going up, icons are due.
3: I have the banners done for the last challenge and the winner of the header challenge banner completed. Just uploading them and I will post them.
4: I really hope to get the next challenge up soon and the new layout.
5: I am very sorry for all the delays, I've been mega busy and hardly getting anytime to get on here at all.
Thanks to all who entered, I will have the next challenge up hopefully tomorrow night. The header challenge is closed and I'm working on redoing the layout, so check back when it's finished.
