Celebrity Couples Who Got Married in Las Vegas (original) (raw)

From regrettably short unions (Britney Spears' 55-hour marriage to childhood pal Jason Alexander) to vows that have lasted decades (Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos), all kinds of celebrity marriages have gotten their start in Las Vegas — Elvis impersonator optional.

The most recent celebrity couple to get hitched in Sin City is Usher and his girlfriend Jennifer Goicoechea, who had a small ceremony in front of family and friends while he was in town for the Super Bowl halftime show. But plenty of A-listers have decided to make it official at the Little White Wedding Chapel and beyond. Read on for a full list of celebrities who tied the knot in Las Vegas.

_The Real Housewives of Orange County_alumna posted a sweet photo on Feb. 14, 2023, of her kissing fiancée Spinner in front of a Las Vegas chapel, leading fans to believe the two had officially tied the knot despite her ongoing divorce from ex Sean Burke.

Because Windham-Burke is still in the midst of divorce proceedings with her estranged husband, the commitment between her and Spinner is not legally binding, and PEOPLE confirmed the couple has not filed for a marriage license.

"I know I can't legally marry her right now, as I'm still going through divorce proceedings, but in my eyes and my heart, she's my wife and I'm hers," Windham-Burke told PEOPLE. "We're married. It's like what queer people have been doing forever anyway. We're committing to one another and starting our life together. We got to get married by Valentine's Day by Elvis. How iconic is that? What a bucket list item!"

"They just went back to the hotel after. It was kind of like, 'Holy s---, we just got married,' " the source added, "but they were so so excited and didn't regret one thing. Their relationship and connection is solid."

Ben Affleck & Jennifer Lopez

"We did it. Love is beautiful. Love is kind. And it turns out love is patient….Last night, we flew to Vegas, stood in line for a license with four other couples, all making the same journey to the wedding capital of the world," Lopez wrote to her fans.

"We read our own vows in the little chapel and gave one another the rings we'll wear for the rest of our lives," Lopez continued. "They even had a Bluetooth for the (short) march down the aisle. But in the end it was the best possible wedding we could have imagined. One we dreamed of long ago and one made very real (in the eyes of the state, Las Vegas, a pink convertible and one another) at very, very, long last."

Surprise! The pair said "I do" in Las Vegas following the April 3, 2022, Grammy Awards, PEOPLE confirmed days later.

The private event took place at 1:45 a.m. on Monday, and Kardashian and Barker came dressed in the same clothes they wore to the awards ceremony.

"I didn't know who it was until they pulled up. I advertise as 24-hours but they wanted to make sure I was still there. They paid and they requested Elvis Presley, that was mandatory. I called back 5 minutes later and was like, I got an Elvis, and there they were," One Love Wedding Chapel owner Marty Frierson told PEOPLE.

The ceremony lasted about 30 minutes and no video was allowed to be taken during the ceremony. It was unclear at the time if Kardashian and Barker obtained a marriage license before the ceremony.

"They came, got married, tossed the bouquet in the driveway, and danced to Elvis," said Frierson. "They showed a lot love and had a lot of fun."

The next month, they wed again in front of friends and family in a glamorous, days-long affair in Italy.
