"He has the best voice I've ever heard in my entire life," Bass tells PEOPLE of his former 'NSYNC bandmate

Lance Bass‘s wedding is going to almost be a full ‘NSYNC reunion.
“I had no idea that anyone would be on tour so close to Christmas. So when we chose the date, I didn’t even think to look at the schedules of any of the guys,” Bass tells PEOPLE of his pal and former bandmate Justin Timberlake missing his nuptials. “It is sad, but he’ll be there in spirit.”
Although Timberlake won’t be in attendance, the rest of the former band – JC Chasez, Joey Fatone and Chris Kirkpatrick – will all be in Los Angeles to watch Bass, 35, and his fiancé Michael Turchin, 27, walk down the aisle Saturday.
And Chasez, 38, will be a very important part of the reception.
“I’m really excited that JC is going to [sing during] our first dance,” Bass says. “It is, of course, very meaningful to me. He has the best voice I’ve ever heard in my entire life. And it looks like he might be doing it as a duet with Kristin Chenoweth.”
As for Timberlake’s absence, Bass says the “Mirrors” singer “feels bad” about missing the ceremony, “but at least he’ll still be able to see it on TV” as part of an E! special (airing Feb. 5 at 8 p.m. ET).
