Jerry O'Connell and Rebecca Romijn's Daughters Charlie and Dolly Look All Grown Up in 'Magical' Sweet 16 Party Pics (original) (raw)

Jerry O'Connell and Rebecca Romijn are celebrating a special milestone for their twin girls.

On Sunday, Sept. 23, the actor, 50, and actress, 51, shared a joint Instagram carousel showing photos from their daughters Charlie and Dolly's sweet 16 birthday party over the weekend. In the first few photos, the birthday girls look all grown up in a series of black-and-white photo booth pictures.

The proud dad then flaunts his "security" muscle tee as he stands smiling between his twins. In more snaps, Charlie and Dolly can be seen holding plates of cupcakes with "16" candles in them.

"Happy Sweet 16 Dolly and Charlie," the couple wrote in their caption. "Magical night. We love you."

As the ultimate party planners, the proud parents shared additional scenes of the party in the carousel — both before and after the kids arrived. One snap shows a crowded table filled with smiling guests and empty plates. More pictures show the full setup, complete with couches, tables, paper lanterns, purple lighting, large, metallic balloons, and, of course, a DJ.

Ahead of the big day, O'Connell appeared as a guest on the Friday, Sept. 20 episode of The Talk, where he shared his big plans for the celebration.

"I have teenage daughters, and they will be celebrating their sweet 16 on Saturday," the dad of two shared, adding that he "got it catered and "got an ice cream truck" for the celebration.

O'Connell continued to explain that he would be acting as a security guard at the party, patrolling to make sure the teens were acting appropriately.

"Me and some of the other dads have security shirts," he said. "We're going to walk around the party and make sure there's no close dancing. We're going to watch them, make sure there's room to park."

"It's actually super stressful," he admitted.

The dad of two also excitedly shared that Charlie and Dolly have started driving. "For the first time, the other day, one of my daughters drove on the highway," he shared. "That was a big deal."

"She yelled at another driver. I was really proud of her," O'Connell joked. "She's doing well!"
