Austin Swift turned heads when he made his solo red carpet debut at the Star Wars: The Force Awakens premiere last year. And now Taylor Swift‘s younger brother is getting his star turn in his first big screen role.
In the newly released trailer for Pierce Brosnan‘s upcoming technology thriller I.T. (out Sept. 23), Austin – who plays a character named Lance – can be seen in a blink-and-you’ll-miss-it scene just around the 1:30 mark.
“Grew up loving Pierce Brosnan and John Moore’s films. I never could’ve dreamt I would actually get the chance to work with them,” Austin captioned a still from the movie on Instagram.
Taylor’s close friends Martha Hunt and Ruby Rose quickly voiced their support, liking his photo and writing words of support in the comments. “Congrats!!” wrote Rose, while Hunt simply left a clapping hands emoji.
Last year, big sis Taylor, 26, proudly posted a photo of Austin, 24, in character. “My brother @austinkingsleyswift just acted in his first movie and I’m all proud and stuff,” she wrote.

A graduate of The University of Notre Dame, Austin frequently accompanies his sister to events and was also featured (albeit as a toddler) in her music video for “The Best Day.”

Earlier this year, he helped Taylor celebrate her big win at the Grammy Awards and also partied with her and Lorde at _Vanity Fair_‘s post-Oscar bash, where the trio posed for a “family” photo.
“Had a great time but when I heard “fair party” I thought there would be rides,” he joked on Instagram.
