Emily Blunt isn’t ruling out a Devil Wears Prada sequel — but she’s not rooting for one either.

The actress, 35, opened up about her days filming the beloved comedy during the latest episode of The Jess Cagle Interview (streaming now on People TV).

“We all just wept with laughter,” she told PEOPLE’s Editor-in-Chief Jess Cagle. “I loved working with sweet Annie Hathaway and it was my first experience working Meryl [Streep] and Stanley Tucci who is now my brother-in-law.”

Tucci married Blunt’s sister Felicity in 2012.

In The Devil Wears Prada, Blunt starred as fashion assistant Emily working under an intimidating magazine editor in the 2006 film that became an instant hit. It also snagged Streep her 12th Oscar nomination and went on to gross $326 million worldwide.

And while fans have been dying for a sequel, Blunt said she’s hesitant to jump on board with a Devil Wears Prada 2.

“If everyone did it I would be up for it,” she said. “I almost hope it doesn’t [happen] because I think sometimes when you sequel everything kind of dilutes how special the original is.”

In March, the cast of The Devil Wears Prada had an impromptu reunion at the premiere of Tucci’s new movie Final Portrait. Both Streep and Blunt showed up to lend their support to the 57-year-old actor-director.

Although the trio didn’t pose all together at the event, Tucci was spotted smiling alongside Streep — with whom he also starred in 2009’s Julie & Julia — and cozying up with Blunt.

Blunt stars in a A Quiet Place, directed by and costarring her husband John Krasinski, out now in theaters.
