Ariana Grande's fairy-tale wedding was just like magic!

On May 15, 2021, the "Positions" singer tied the knot with luxury real estate agent Dalton Gomez — they started dating in January 2020 and announced their engagement that same December — and celebrated their love in fabulous style.

Surrounded by candles and white flowers, the nuptials took place at her former home in Montecito, Calif. "It was tiny and intimate — less than 20 people," a rep for the singer told PEOPLE in May 2021. "The room was so happy and full of love."

The Grammy-winning artist later shared photos of their wedding day on Instagram. For the private ceremony — which was covered by Vogue — Grande wore a custom Vera Wang gown, complemented by a pair of Giuseppe Zanotti shoes and Lorraine Schwartz earrings.

(After more than two years of marriage, the couple divorced in October 2023, with Gomez receiving a lump sum of $1,250,000 from Grande and half of the proceeds from the sale of their Los Angeles home. Despite their split, "Ari has nothing but kind words to say about Dalton. During their marriage, he was her number-one fan," a source exclusively told PEOPLE.)

Grande said "I do" in a custom gown by designer Vera Wang. According to the label, she chose a "custom lily-white silk charmeuse strapless empire waist column gown accented by a sculpted neckline. The dress was worn with a lily-white tulle shoulder-length hand-pleated bubble veil with a satin bow accent."

Per Vogue, Wang made Grande a promise at the Met Gala several years prior that she would design the pop star's wedding day look when the time came.

She finished her ensemble with custom Giuseppe Zanotti white satin close-toe platform shoes.

The star kept her jewelry minimal, only wearing her engagement ring, wedding band and a pair of extra-sentimental pearl and pear-shaped diamond drop earrings by Lorraine Schwartz.

The earring design matched her unique engagement ring (featuring one pearl and one upside-down diamond), both carrying significance. Vogue reported that the design represents "appreciating the lowest or the 'upside down' moments in her life and how they have contributed to where and who she is now."
