It's the most wonderful time of the year: Revolve Festival!

On Saturday, April 13, the brand will host its annual soirée in a new location in Palm Springs, Calif., just miles outside of the Coachella grounds. In its seventh year, Revolve Festival is expected to draw a number of A-list attendees, and in the past it has featured performances by the likes of Cardi B, 21 Savage and Jack Harlow.

Additionally, guests will get to enjoy a slew of activities like snapping pics in Rhode's photo booth and participating in a shoot a hoop competition to win shoes from P.F. Flyers (which is launching on Revolve's website).

Food and beverage options will include Raising Cane’s and offerings from Family Style Fest, with cocktails provided by Kendall Jenner's 818 Tequila and Kylie Jenner's Sprinter Vodka Soda. Other options include Red Bull Summer Edition Caruba Elderflower, LaCroix Sparkling Water and Voss Water.

In preparation for the weekend, friends of the brand — Nicole Richie, Marianna Hewitt and Revolve's Chief Brand Officer Raissa Gerona — are sharing with PEOPLE all of their festival fashion must-haves and tips to beat the desert heat.

Daniel Yoon for House of Harlow 1960/REVOLVE

When it comes to festival style, the House of Harlow 1960 designer has one guiding rule: "Dress for yourself."

"My motto is always 'What can I dance in?'" she adds. "Have fun and don’t overthink it."

The three pieces in her suitcase for Revolve Festival are the HOH 1960 x REVOLVE Lera bodysuit, a pair of classic Ray Bans and Supergoop's Unseen Sunscreen.

Since sweat is bound to happen in the desert heat, Richie recommends finding "little spots of shade" and drinking lots of water.

As for her favorite Revolve Festival memory, Richie says she loves "seeing girls" each year in HOH 1960 pieces. Right now, "I am loving the current Spring House of Harlow collection that just dropped on Revolve," she says. "So many easy to wear pieces that you can wear over and over again."

The influencer — who is the co-founder of Summer Fridays and creative director of L'Academie — describes her festival style as "tailored, comfortable and timeless."

One of her essentials for festival season is a good cross body, like the mini bucket bag from Mansur Gavriel.

"I love a bag that fits my essentials; lip balm, sunglasses and my wallet," she says. "I love canvas bags for Spring and Summer, and the mini bucket bag from Mansur Gavriel will go with everything."

She also plans to pack a pair of statement earrings — she loves the vintage styles from Aureum — and a pair of sunglasses, like the Ceres V2 style by Aire that "look expensive but are under $40."

To beat the heat, Hewitt suggests packing a trio of products: makeup primer, waterproof mascara and setting spray.

"I keep my beauty routine pretty minimal, but these products help them last through the heat," she says. "I also constantly have Summer Fridays Jet Lag Mask and ShadeDrops Sunscreen in my bags."

Summer Fridays and L'Academie, of course, are among her favorite brands right now, as well as Aureum, Levi’s, Cult Gaia, Retrofête and Elsa Hosk's Helsa.

Gerona's festival style is all about what she's feeling that day.

"I like to switch it up," she says. "One day I’ll go for a chic dress look with slick hair and another day I’ll be cool and comfy with denim and a crop top."

The three festival musts she'll be packing in her suitcase are sunscreen, "comfy but cute" cowboy boots and the perfect worn in denim jacket from GRLFRND.

To last in the desert heat, Gerona says "always remember to hydrate and drink a good amount of water."

While Gerona says "there have been so many great memories over the years" from Revolve Festival, she'll always remember Cardi B's surprise performance in 2019, as well as the sets by A$AP Rocky, SZA and Post Malone.

"Hands down, my most favorite memory is every year, at the end of Revolve Festival, when our team gets together for a celebratory drink, high fives, and hugs," she says. "There's no better feeling than seeing everyone's faces, some crying tears of joy, knowing we did it together, and as a team!"

As for her favorite looks from past years, she puts the sheer Christopher Esber maxi dress she wore in 2022 and the David Koma mini dress she wore in 2023 at the top of her list.

Among Gerona's favorite designers right now are Helsa, L'Academie, David Koma and Eterne.
