The 2024 SAG Awards are a wrap!
This year’s ceremony, broadcast live from the Shrine Auditorium and Expo Hall in Los Angeles, saw The Bear,Beef and Oppenheimer win big.
A Devil Wears Prada reunion kicked off the night, during which stars Emily Blunt and Anne Hathaway insisted Meryl Streep and her character Miranda Priestly were one and the same. The reunions kept coming, with the casts of Breaking Bad and Modern Family also coming together throughout the night.
Pedro Pascal gave a tipsy acceptance speech when he won outstanding performance by a male actor in a drama series for The Last of Us. He later promised to give category loser Kieran Culkin a kiss at the after party as "revenge."
Barbra Streisand received the Life Achievement Award from Jennifer Aniston and Bradley Cooper. The actress and singer, 81, spoke in her acceptance speech about how a crush on Marlon Brando drew her to acting, as well as her dream for prejudice to be "a thing of the past."

SAG-AFTRA President Fran Drescher spoke about the impact of last year's strike, the need to challenge the use of artificial intelligence and the importance of female leadership. "We don't have to emulate male energy," Drescher, 66, told the audience.
Killers of the Flower Moon's Lily Gladstone accepted the outstanding performance by a female actor in a leading role award in Blackfeet language, her native tongue, and Oppenheimer closed out the night with a win for cast in a motion picture. Kenneth Branagh touted how the cast joined the strike and went in "the direction of solidarity" just after the movie premiered in July.

Here’s a play-by-play of what went down off-camera at this year’s SAG Awards.
Before the show started, Abbott Elementary's Sheryl Lee Ralph and Ciara shared a joyful greeting on the red carpet.
As the two-hour ceremony got underway, Rachel Brosahan and Sterling K. Brown shared a hug backstage as the This Is Us star, 47, waited for his wife Ryan Michelle Bathe to finish up in the bathroom. Bob Odenkirk caught up with Michael Chiklis as they walked through the smoking tent outside.

After winning outstanding performance by a female actor in a supporting role, The Holdovers' Da’Vine Joy Randolph traded in her heels for slippers to do interviews on the winners' walk. "I didn’t want the emotion to take over," Randolph, 37, said in the press room of her earlier acceptance speech.
Also in the press room, Ayo Edebiri gushed about playing Sydney in The Bear, which earned her the outstanding performance by a female actor in a comedy series award earlier in the night.
"I admire her tenacity," Edebiri, 28, said. "Any person who is a working person can identity with wanting to show who you are. That she is just like flawed as a young Black woman. I started out in comedy getting to play a character who is three-dimensional as the men in the show is something I really love. It’s a thrill to get to play with as an actor."

"I’ve read almost all the scripts," White, 33, said in the press room, adding of his character, "I really hope Carmy gets a happy ending. I hope he learns how to understand himself a little better and finds himself some peace."
Oppenheimer's Robert Downey Jr. headed to the bathroom after winning outstanding performance by a male actor in a supporting role and noticed an empty table at the gala. "What’s this going to be?” Downey, 58, wondered.
