Colin Firth is an English actor. He rose to fame on the 1995 TV adaptation Pride and Prejudice. Firth's most famous films include Shakespeare in Love (1998), Bridget Jones's Diary (2001), Mamma Mia! (2008) and Kingsman: The Secret Service (2014). In 2011, he won his first Academy Award for Best Actor for his role in The King's Speech. Since 2022, Firth has starred on the HBO Max mini-series The Staircase. He was also appointed Commander of the Order of the British Empire in 2011. He founded his own production company, Raindog Films, in 2012.
