Jesse Williams is an American actor. He is best known for playing Dr. Jackson Avery on the television drama Grey's Anatomy from 2009 to 2022. Williams is also known for appearing in the films The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants 2 (2008), Brooklyn's Finest (2009) and The Cabin in the Woods (2012).
