Kim Basinger is an American actress. She rose to fame in 1977 on the Dog and Cat series and in the eponymous TV movie. Basinger also appeared on the 1980 series From Here to Eternity. Her most famous films include Never Say Never Again (1983), The Natural (1984), 9 ½ Weeks (1986), Batman (1989), Wayne's World 2 (1993), 8 Mile (2002), Cellular (2004) and Fifty Shades Darker (2017). In 1998, Basinger won an Academy Award for her performance in 1997's L.A. Confidential. She shares a daughter, Ireland Baldwin, with ex-husband Alec Baldwin.
