Robert De Niro is an American actor and director. He has starred in award-winning movies including Mean Streets (1973), The Godfather: Part II (1974), Goodfellas (1990), Taxi Driver (1976) and The Irishman (2019). He is known for frequently collaborating with director Martin Scorsese. De Niro also directed A Bronx Tale (1993) and The Good Shepherd (2006). De Niro has won two Oscars and a Golden Globe, along with the Cecil B. DeMille Award and the Screen Actors Guild Lifetime Achievement Award. In 2002, De Niro created the Tribeca Film Festival in New York under his Tribeca Productions company that he founded in 1989. He has been married twice and has six children.
