Yara Shahidi is an American actress. She first gained recognition in 2012 on the series The First Family. Shahidi is also known for playing the oldest daughter Zoey Johnson on the ABC sitcom Black-ish, a role she reprised on the Freeform spin-off Grown-ish. Her notable films include Imagine That (2009), Alex Cross (2012), Smallfoot (2018), The Sun Is Also a Star (2019) and PAW Patrol: The Movie (2021).
